"I get the impression that our ""new"" fans understand that we have a lot to give." Maybe some of our "old" fans don't respond well to the new fan base, but I also know the opposite can be true. I'm no idiot; I know there will always be the infamous brawl between old fans and young fans. Metallica experienced it among diehard fans of the Kill 'Em All era and the new fans that came with the Black Album: it's inevitable (laughs). When the Black Album came out in 1991, the fan base that came with it was incredible, and it's still there thirty-two years later! Makes you wonder who the die hard fans really are:
Kill 'Em All fans who allegedly abandoned the ship or the black album fandom who have stayed with them through it all? At the end of the day, I try not to worry about it too much. """As long as people join our ranks for similar reasons, all should be well."""
You are cast out from the heavens to the ground.
