“Running out of time”

Author’s note: Yes this is partially based off a real event, no I do not want to talk about it. (It’s a little funny)

"Press it! Press it!!" Kokichi shouted over your shoulder.

“Are we done? I don’t want to screw it up and press it too early” You exclaimed.

"If you don't press it now, who knows what'll happen! Push! The! button!" He cried out, with comically large tears streaming down his face.

"If I push it now, we may not have done everything right!" You yelled back, hands shaking.

"It's now or never, S/o, I'll never forgive you if you don't press it in time." He stated grimly.

You quickly re-read everything on the screen in front of you, tapped a few keys on your phone keyboard, and pressed the button. Immediately, the screen went black. You and Kokichi were both silent. The room's atmosphere had been totally different mere moments ago. Now, instead of shouting and anxiety, it was silent and just tense. You looked up at the clock every few minutes. 

Tick, tock. Tick, tock.

Time crept by, slower than ever before, almost convincing you that it wasn’t moving at all. You’ve never seen Kokichi this serious. 

You two made small conversation here and there just to fill the time, though it didn't help much.

At one point, you even went outside to wait. 

It was rainy, chilly, and dark.

The rain danced on your coat, before falling to the concrete beneath you.

But as soon as you heard Kokichi telling you to come back inside, as he was getting cold from the open door; you went back inside to wait.

Right when you both started to give up hope, there was a knock at the door. You stood to answer it, but your boyfriend was faster; getting to the door and throwing it open.

"Thanks, we almost starved to death!" He exclaimed to the poor GrubHub driver.

"Yeah, sorry about that.. Enjoy your McDonald's.." The driver said before turning to head back to his car. Kokichi didn't bother to tip, he just closed the door and got to work making sure everything was there.

"Oh my God, S/O. They forgot the most important part" He wailed.

"What? What did they forget?" After waiting a long 20 minutes, you didn’t want to deal with reordering whatever they missed; And your phone was dead, so you’d have to wait for it to charge to do so.

"The seventeen pepper packets I added!!" He wailed; gently, but dramatically, tossing the bag on the counter.

Though that wasn’t a main part of the order, Kokichi was actually upset about it being forgotten. So much so, that you almost felt like driving to McDonalds to ask for pepper packets, just to appease him.

McDonalds had already closed by the time you decided to do so, however.

It was a sad day that day.

Nagito cuddling headcanons

Author’s Note: My computer has been acting up lately, and we’re moving soon so apologies if my posts get shorter or I go on a short hiatus for a bit. Please enjoy!

At first he wants to cuddle you, but he’s afraid that you wouldn’t want him touching you, or that you didn’t like him anymore.

So he slept facing you, with about a foot of space between the two of you.

But when you convince him that you do actually want to cuddle, he will be pressed, as tightly as he can, against you

He might even put his feet underneath yours, because they’re cold

Or he’d have you lay on top of him, as another ‘blanket’

No matter how you two lay, he always wants your hand in his, if possible. Just to remind him that you’re there

And so he can feel if you’ve woken up, depending on the position.

He wants to be able to protect you in case anything happens, so he tries to lay closest to the door, “in case someone breaks in”.

However, that usually means that he’s the little spoon. 

He enjoys feeling protected and loved by you though, so that’s not an issue for him, as long as you’re okay with it

If you move a lot, he’ll hug you tightly, and try to soothe you back to peaceful sleep.

And he’d know if you moved, because he’s a very light sleeper.

He usually wakes up before you do, or tries to, so he can make you breakfast.

But while you eat, he sits beside you, with his head on your shoulder; to make up for the cuddles he ‘missed out on’ while he was cooking.

During the day, if you two have down time, he’d suggest cuddling on the couch while watching something, or listening to music.

I so wish I could just cuddle up next to Saeyoung and ruffle my fingers through his hair.

Doesn't matter if we're talking, or if its a silent agreement that right here and right now is where we've always belonged. That the stars brought us right where we're meant to be.

I just want to hold him close and remind us both that no matter what, we will always be there for each other.

Even when the night is dark and daytime seems like it's so distant that it might never come. Or when the rain floods the yard and makes us feel isolated from the world. We're always there. Always together. 💖

(Sorry for the rant lolol I just felt very inspired)

Ohhhhh. This is so beautiful.

I love that you wanna be with him even when times are tough. Cause they won’t always be perfect, right? Even when he’s so longer fighting to stay alive, sometimes one of you is going to feel like the world is ending. It isn’t, but it FEELS that way. Some days, that’s just how it is.

But you’ll hold onto each other and you’ll play with his pretty hair and he’ll squeeze your hand so tight. You are the center of everything, and when he looks into your eyes he remember the reason the world turns.

You said you belong, and you’re so right: even if it’s cold out, or even if you’re afraid, you’ll feel warm and safe in his arms.

I feel like if you were to do that to Byakuya, he'd absolutely lose it. Like he'd just want a simple repeating of what you said before, to be absolutely destroyed with "then beg." And if youre feeling cocky and daring, you could even add a "peasant" to the end.

You finished your statement, though Byakuya had only half-heard what you said. He stood silent for a second, brows furrowed together.

"I beg your pardon..?" He slightly shook his head and questioned.

You smirked, knowing he'd just given you so much power in his own words. You felt daring today, and you would take the risk. You looked him right in the eyes, and muttered two simple, yet now powerful, words.

"Then beg." You evilly stated. You knew he'd be taken aback, and probably angry, by that but you couldnt pass up such an opportunity.

"Wh-" His eyes widened, in shock. How dare someone such as yourself talk to him that way? Though he was a little impressed at your confidence, knowing full-well he wouldn't enjoy being made a fool of.
