i love the idea of living close to nature. be it up in the cold mountains in a log cabin with a green tin roof, and solar panels in the yard, or in a country cob cabin with a living roof, nestled into a meadow somewhere beautiful and hot. i want to live close to the earth and be familiar with her. i don't want a television. i want a book shelf and some vinyl records and a turntable with lots of speeds. i want to dance with my husband and our kids in the living room and make tea and salads with the herbs and flowers, which we foraged. maybe i’ll un-school my kids, or i’ll send them to a Waldorf school (depending on the opportunities wherever we land). ill teach them witchcraft, but also to respect all faiths and ideologies (which pose no direct harm to others). ill send them to the local synagogue with my Jewish friends, to the mosque with my Muslim friends, to temple with my Hindu friends, and so on. i want open an open-minded, and kind-hearted family. my husband and i will kiss often, sometimes in front of the kids, and they will groan and roll their eyes, but ultimately they are learning that that's how their future partner should treat them. we might have chickens in the yard, and maybe one or two roosters. maybe a greenhouse, where i can grow fresh herbs and greens year round (if we are so blessed with the money to do so). i'll enroll my kiddos in book clubs at the local library, and read books to them with no pictures when they are bored. i will allow them the time to just rest. i don't care how loud, or odd, or sassy my kids might be, i care only that they are gentle with others and do their best to understand others. i’ll go on dates with my husband long after we are married, we will wander, weaving through the mountains or meadows. i will run my hands through his hair and gaze into his eyes as i do now, before the altar. if we have the money, i’ll put a swimming/fishing pond in the yard. we'll have lots of pets, and homestead animals and we'll nurture injured animals we encounter. i can’t wait for one day to come to me.
we love them
They definitely don’t like each other 😏
I am not kidding when I say I want to run away into the woods to live amongst the moss and all the woodland and fairytale creatures.

there’s not a person in this world who hasn’t embarrassed themselves or hurt someone or made a mistake. learn and grow from these things, rectify them if you can, but don’t dwell on them. we are all human; we are all imperfect.
a very polite gentleman if you ask me
