Also George can leave but I’m not going to stop shipping MacDalton no matter what happens to Jack in the show. No one can stop me.
Turns out, the only white paint we’ve got is the glossy-finish outdoor paint, so this is all I could get today. I’ve got them sandwiched between 2 pieces of cardboard w some books stacked on top rn to flatten them, and tomorrow after work I’m gonna pick up some white paint and hopefully at least get the sky done
McDanno One-Shot (title from a song by Bob Marley)
Their laughter mocks his nerves. The constant breeze combined with the soft sound of the waves is disturbingly beautiful. Danny clamps his beer bottle between his fingers. He wishes to be back in the fog of New Jersey during fall. The grime from his hometown sticks to his mood as dirty and as unshakeable as ever. It has been weeks now, and it doesn’t get any better.
Steve’s jaw doesn’t show any discolored skin anymore. His bruise has healed, and the sore feeling has surely faded away. Steve’s never mentioned the punch once. Danny’s fist hasn’t suffered any damage and there’s no pounding in his knuckles anymore, but the curses don’t weaken. They are just as fresh and filthy on his tongue as on the very first day he’d landed in Hawaii.
A new wave of laughter clashes with his body, making him tense up even more. Danny’s stiff muscles send a dull ache through his lower back. He chews at the inside of his cheek. A fake smile is plastered on his lips. The conversation is light, abnormally cheerful. A lot of jokes are thrown back and forth like balls and everyone laughs and is having a good time – except Danny.

Today’s adventure
okay but where’s the story where mac and jack get drunk together and promise that if neither of them is in a relationship when mac turns 30, they’ll get married.
mac turns thirty, and they’re both single. they go to vegas to get married.
at the county clerk’s office to get their marriage license, they are told they can’t get a license because they filed a marriage certificate in california like four years previous.
cue hijinks as they try to figure out how they got married while trying to hide their feelings from each other.
If anyone deserved a seat at the round table, it was Merlin. So why didn’t Arthur allow him one?
Before anyone else could finish their thoughts, Gwaine piped up, his question shooting out of his mouth with a hint of outrage around the edges that silenced the entire room, “Why doesn’t Merlin have a seat at the table?”
Reblog the strawberry kitty for good luck!🍓🐱
what the hell is going on in this country?!
I wish I could make a poll here, but since I can’t, you’ll have to vote in reblogs/comments.
For my next fic in the “Finding Out” series, whose reaction to MacDalton should I write: Nikki or Sarah?
(I’ll write both eventually, but I can’t decide which one I should start with)
Mac: *sees a stranger doing something stupid*
Mac: What an idiot.
Mac: *realizes it’s Jack*
Mac: Wait, that’s my idiot.

Stony AU — requested by @capntony — [It is a truth universally acknowledged, that many people would kill for money. And Tony Stark has plenty of it, being America’s number one billionaire. Naturally, his security team is airtight, led by his most trusted bodyguard, the highly trained Steve Rogers. But mistakes can happen in the blink of an eye, and when Stark is abducted, Rogers decides to personally hunt down those responsible. He has never lost a client, and he doesn’t plan on ever starting, especially not with this one.]

And I have a bone to pick with the writers. The fact that Jack did not walk right in to see Oversight and give his own notice of resignation as soon as Mac left that door says to me that everything they were trying to build in this relationship - Jack following Mac to California after declaring nothing would stop him from seeing Texas, Jack signing up for another tour after saying all he wanted was to get stateside, Jack vehemently declaring that he is there to watch Mac’s back not do anything else for Phoenix besides watch Mac’s back (please see Season 1 Episode 8) - means nothing and they don’t really care about Jack’s character at all.
You wrote this man to be living a Wookie Life Debt with Angus MacGyver and then you write him into letting Mac WALK AWAY? Chewie never left Han, even after all they went through, he never thought “Oh hey this is nice here with the rebellion and Leia guess I’ll just stay while Han goes somewhere else” - HE WENT WITH HIM. He and Han are out smuggling their way through the galaxy even when they’re old and grey.
Why did you not let Jack follow Mac out of Phoenix? Because as far as I could see, he had no actual obligation to stay. Riley was considering leaving, she was with Billy, and if you think she hadn’t talked even a LITTLE with Jack about her thoughts about leaving the life to settle down you are again, sadly and woefully, misunderstanding YOUR OWN WRITING, and Bozer had Leanna to watch his back so he didn’t need Jack to watch out for him while Mac was away.
Without Mac there, Jack had no obligations to Phoenix or Matty or Oversight.
I hear my mom shrieking downstairs, shouting up to me about “THE CATS! THE CATS!”
I run downstairs, thinking someone has died or something and see THIS:
I FEEL LIKE I NEED TO PUNCH SOMETHING TO GET OVER THE ADORABLENESS
