Anyway I got distracted

She has a little brother, his name is smth generic like jack, Jake, Finley (I like this one so ima stick w this) or whatever. Hes 8 in the re-up, and hes literally such a cutie. Jecka is putting all of her free energy into being somewhat of a good big sister. She’ll play with him, watch tv with him, read with him, let him “help w homework” (when he was little, like 4) and like, protect him when their parents got violent, aggressive, started arguing or shouting etc.

She really loves her mum, like, a lot and she hates it sometimes. Since her mum puts all her time and effort into looking good, heroin, alcohol, cigs etc, Jecka (from a young age) picked up these habits (like smoking and drinking and looking good all the time) and cant get rid of them. But when her mum is sober, or trying to be, she is actually an alright mum, like jecka can tell her about school, about some drama she leaves stuff out of, they paint nails, or just sit at the table talking, and she genuinly really enjoys it because again, she really loves her mum and hates to hate her.

Hopes her dad kills himself

She drinks monster quite often with Nicole if they can’t get any alcohol (or they mix it w it for a fun kick) and her favourite flavour is pink or watermelon. In my silly British au Ive made up in my head (pls ask abt im dying), she drinks the winter edition, watermelon and any pink version of redbull, because the can is pretty.

She doesn’t really know what she wants to be when she’s older, so she’s picked something like a nurse or surgeon for now. Honestly I never really think about it like that because my favourite version is some random version of the meth eaters au.

Is actually quite artsy. She isn’t like art GCSE artsy, but she can draw more than a stick figure. She likes drawing herself a lot, because she thinks shes gorgeous (we love a self confident queen)

She’s always being catcalled, even from a young age and sometimes she fucking hates it, it makes her feel disgusting and gross, except when she’s thinking late at night and she’s laying on her side sobbing her eyes out because she feels so ugly and she fucking craves being catcalled because then she knows she’s pretty enough for that :(

Is constantly being sexually harassed, and again like the last one, it makes her want to vomit and make herself look ugly but when she’s crying at night wondering why she can’t be prettier she remembers it and relishes in it. It means shes pretty enough for that. It means shes a skinny, pretty, stunning bitch.

She does struggle a bit with eating and how she looks, mainly because bitches like Jeffery will see the slightest stomach roll that everyone gets from sitting down, and be like “ewwww wtf is that’ and start crashing out. Things like that make her feel so self conscious

Shaves all over everywhere incase one day she gets r4ped and she won’t look ugly.

Originally, her parents weren’t gonna get her braces, until she begged on her knees, crying, shaking etc for them because she felt so insecure about her teeth (they were a little bit wonky)

Her mum installed some really, really damaging mindset into her, so now she had this toxic routine to keep herself “pretty”

Her upper thighs are different colours to her from scars

She was never allowed friends over for sleepovers during middle school and elementary school because neither of her parents could stay sober past 6pm. They would have screaming matches (including breaking stuff) at last mindnihgt.

Her fake tan is kinda blotchy and you can smell it from a mile away

Her birthday is April 8th (same day as my irl bby ❤️)

She does frequently self harm on her thighs, and a few times on her wrist, but it’s mainly from pulling hair, over exciersiing etc)

Her red tube addiction is actually seriously bad. It’s mainly from sexual trauma she’s gotten from family members in the past.

Nicole has several panic attacks during the process of them becoming parents (I think they would adopt bc I just don’t think either of them would wanna be pregnant but it’s definitely smth to explore). Her and Jecka are like mid 30s at this point and they’re a lot more stable but they obviously have bad days. Jecka is trying to comfort her and remind her that they aren’t their parents and it’s a process but Nicole is convinced she’ll just fuck them up.

After a really long therapy session she decides to actually do something about it and buys a fuck tom of parenting books and spends the majority of her time researching childhood trauma and how to keep their home safe and welcoming for a foster child.

It was Jecka’s idea to begin to foster kids and she was beginning to get worried bc with Nicole’s anxiety, she’s been really hands off with the whole process but after Nicole’s new passion for it, it unlocks something in her and she finds herself loving Nicole in a whole new way. They’ve been together for over ten years and they’re ride or dies but now she’s seeing Nicole as a leader for their soon to be family and it’s a really beautiful time for them.

They’re both extremely anxious when they actually begin to foster children, these twins come to them. It’s a big and girl around 7 years old and they’re very quiet so Nicole thinks she’s doing something wrong bc she hyped herself up for this great experience but she thinks the kids hate her. She’s still welcoming and trying her best but her insecurities are starting to get the best of her. Until one day Jecka comes home after picking them up from school and the boy brings her a drawing and she fully starts sobbing bc it’s a small reinforcement that she’s doing a good job and they’re starting to feel comfortable. Nicole frames it and everything, she’s so happy and she refuses to hide it. As they get older she’ll make jokes like “I’m his favorite” and Jecka just rolls her eyes

Jecka is a mountain of anxiety and she’s done a lot of work to manage it and not project it onto the kids. She still has anger issues and sometimes when the kids are being kids but it overwhelms her, her hands start to shake and she goes to her room crying bc she thinks that means she’s just like her dad. Nicole is rubbing her back and reminding her that Jecka has never put her hands on them and she never would. Being angry doesn’t mean she’s violent and after she calms down

I’m going to make ONE little hc about if one of them got pregnant bc I read a fic about them dealing with a teen pregnancy and it was funny. This is basically a shit post but I had to include it. After Nicole gets Youtube famous, Jecka traps her so she can secure her bag and she likes Nicole anyway so why not. They’re terrible parents and Jecka is “excited” to have a baby bc the idea of having someone love her unconditionally is exciting but then actual motherhood is a nightmare. Nicole doesn’t know what the hell she’s doing and they’re starting end up turning into a family vlog channel to make more money but then once the kid is like 8 they stop bc they can see unhealthy habits forming and they actually love their child.

Some happier moments are Nicole actually enjoying a house full of kids when they’re fostering multiple kids. Her house was always loud growing up bc of her parents yelling and then her numerous stepdads but there’s a weird comfort in the chaos bc it’s familiar. She also really enjoys the routine of driving to school, pick ups, packing lunches. She likes to be needed and she’s happy that she’s able to provide a stable home with her partner

Lmao I don't think the trans Nicole hc is offensive but I'm not a trans woman so who am I to say? I think a lot of the time, people take strong woman characters and headcanon them as trans and I personally don't know what that means as a community but that's a different convo.

Jecka: is super whiny on her period. Asking Nicole to go get her this and that and " No that's the wrong brand of chips." It's the one time Nicole will allow Jecka to boss her around so she let's her soak up the power for the week.

Nicole: becomes a recluse when she's on her period. Similar to when she's sick, she doesn't want to be bothered, she doesn't speak to anyone. She holes herself up in her room with enough snacks and water to last her the week and then comes back like nothing happened. When she was younger, she definitely used it as an excuse to be a bitch, get out of class, make men uncomfortable, etc.

Kelly: is so emotional. I don't think she's a big crier but she'll drop a piece of food on the ground and start sobbing like "This is the end of the world, I should just kms now." And she doesn't know why she's being insane until she checks her calendar like "Oh it makes sense now." I also think she uses it as an excuse to skip class and take a nap in the nurse's office or something.

Ari: gets super angry when she's pms-ing. She has a pretty silent anger to her but when she's on her period she'll just snap at anyone for any reason and then as she's coming off her period she pretends like it's completely normal as if she wasn't screaming at a teacher for giving her a B- on Tuesday.

Emily: Huge cry baby and even clingier than normal. In my universe where Jecka and Emily share Nicole as a partner, they sync up and Nicole has to deal with these two blubbering losers all week. Emily fully threatens to jump into oncoming traffic if her heating pad isn't perfectly right (and she's real for that).

- Has been s3xually abused by her brother, which is a reason she avoids him so much + hatred for men stems from

- Her mums ex’s have been physically p, mentally, and verbally abusive, again fueling her hatred

- since she was only born to baby trap her dad, her mum didn’t care too much for her, meaning she was left to care for herself from a too young age. Her dad was extremely emotionally distant and threw himself head first into work, meaning she was issentially ignored (another reason why her brother was able to abuse her)

- When her parents divorced, her mum gave her one of the worst beatings because she couldn’t make her dad stay. Since it’s more likely for her mum to get custody either way in court, just for fun and some sort of ‘revenge’, she would make up the most vile accusations against her ex husband and Nicole would have to listen, and when she tried to deny no one believe her because she was too young.

- Would be locked in her room for days as punishment

- her mum is genuinly the most vile woman Nicole has ever had the displeasure of having a relation with. She is manipulative, Abusive, neglectful, an abler, a liar, and Nicole has never wanted to disappear more when around her.

- shes also a boy mum, meaning that when Nicole finally confided her in what her brother had been doing, she called Nicole a liar, an attention seeker and a cow for wanting to mess up her brothers future, even though she had witnessed it first hand. In her eyes, it was only a joke, and her son had the best life ahead of him, even though he was a ped0, future burnt to the ground by the time he was 12.

- At some point, between the stress of trying to make new friends every other week, stopping her brother from coming into her bedroom, keep up her grades, be nice, stay clean, be a good child, She crumbled and started acting up more hoping her mum would get her so ba she’d accidentally kill her. Because then, she wouldn’t be called “selfish” for taking the “easy way out”; her mum would be charged and out away for a while, maybe her brother would get caught, and her dad would have a peace of mind knowing he wouldn’t be harrassed anymore by his ex wife. She thought it would make everything better.

- She’s not actually a sociopath, but she does have a personality disorder, and ADHD. However instead of like, getting treated or therapy, her mum took it as an excuse to beat the shit out of Nicole because she saw said disorders as an excuse to act up. Her dad did try to get Nicole some sort of medication but her mum wouldn’t allow him to see Nicole so he could give it to her.

- Nicole is an empty shell of what could’ve been someone with a bright future.

- She sees herself as worthless. She lays there at night and knows that with the “casual” drug abuse, the smoking, the drinking, the SH, the attempts, the self-sabotaging and the not trying has fucked up her future. She’s “knows” she will end up in prison or dead in the future so she doesn’t see the point in trying because there’s no way to turn it around this late into her life.

- Since she sees herself as friendless, there’s nothing to do where they live, and she feels like she’s wasting everyone’s time for asking to go out - she bedrots. All of the time. To the point she had bugs under her matress creating fucking ecosystems. To the point there was mouldy food all over her room. To the point maggots had started forming on said food, and she couldnt do anything about it. She didn’t shower, laid in her own bodily fluids, had matted hair, and only when her friends at school realised that she hadn’t been to school in nearly two months without a text did they actually go and check (jecka, Ari, Emily). They were actually disgusted with the fact her mum let this happen.
