Oh this is a horrible idea
What if Kai taught Hellspawn "self-defense" or whatever these kids did to the Kalamaar cut out during the time skip?
No it's a GREAT idea.
It wouldn't happen during the time-skip though but I can see it happening throughout the time between s11 & seabound, when Lloyd isn't looking.
I just think the ninja were estranged from some point after seabound, so during the time-skip to crystalized, hellspawn didn't really see the rest while Lloyd cleaned windows.
And after finding out, Lloyd asked her to put some moves to use the next time they see Dareth. He still remembers the bruise he got when Dareth taught her one of his own.
Wouldn't it be funny if when hellspawn... well spawned garm/misako called wu and the ninja to try and tell them to come over (and bring baby stuff while their at it) but the situation was so chaotic that the ninja only understood a small part of it and, with the little info they had; concluded that lloyd was turned into a baby?
Takes place sometime before s3.
Don't get him wrong. Cole had always been someone who liked kids.
Just...just not these kids.
"Being a teacher is hard work," Kai complained, plopping down a nearby chair as soon as he could step into the break room. His usually well-gelled hair was beginning to droop miserably. "If my work of art gets another spitball when my back is turned again I swear I'll—"
"Work of art? FSM, who told you that lie?" Nya snorted, only to receive a very nasty glare from her brother at that comment. "That's a mess."
"Those kids are the mess," Kai grumbled, hands reaching up to comb through his hair to find any remaining atrocities. "They're even worse than the baby gremlin version of Lloyd. Can you believe that?"
"You're telling me," Cole rubbed his eyes. "I come in ten minutes late and someone lets Ninjago's most poisonous scorpion walk around the classroom."
"How did they even bring one in, again?" Nya sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose wearily. "Enough said. We need stricter rules."
"As if that'll stop them," Kai huffed, chucking his file across the room. "Keep dreaming."
" 'Educating the future of Ninjago' my butt. Wu definitely hates us."
"Bad day too huh, zaptrap?" Cole winched sympathetically, watching Jay's head dip in a depressed nod as he made a beeline for the freezer.
"We went from saving Ninjago to needing to be saved," Jay stressed, eyes scanning through the contents of the refrigerator before then widening. "Hey. Who took my pudding cup?"
"You had a pudding cup?" Cole blinked, his gaze briefly falling on the empty plastic container in front of him on the table. At that, Jay's eyes locked on it as well. "Um...sorry?" He tried, grimacing at once.
"Bullied by my students, and now bullied by my friends," Jay said miserably, slamming the fridge door shut at once. "This is just great."
"Perfect for a villain arc," Kai said helpfully, only to receive incredulous looks from everyone else in the room. "What? Literature is finally growing on me."
"I can't believe I got stuck with history," Jay groaned, sounding as though he was tempted to bang his head against the table. "Zane's the walking textbook. He should be teaching history."
"Unfortunately, that would leave a vacancy for the science teacher position," Zane replied, walking into the room — weirdly percent timing, Cole thought suspiciously. "I believe Wu does not wish to look elsewhere for a replacement."
"Yeah," Kai rolled his eyes. "So he can continue to pay us like—"
"But Nya could teach science," Jay suggested, looking at her pleadingly. "Right, Nya?"
Nya seemed to contemplate that thought. "I guess I could—"
"See?"
"But you're gonna have to take over math," Nya told him, chewing on the inside of her cheek. "You have to spend the rest of your life hearing those kids talk about how much they hate you and—"
Jay blinked. "Wait, what—"
"Yeah," Nya shrugged. "And then, they start debates with you asking why the heck do we have to learn this—"
"Well that's normal for me," Jay said, and then frowned. "Anyway, why are we forced to learn math, again?"
"I often wonder that myself," Sensei coughed.
All of them nearly jumped at that, not having seen him enter. The old man merely shook his head.
"You five have become less vigilant," he stated exasperatedly, the bottom of his bamboo staff colliding with the floor as he continued to step forward. "Such carelessness could be your downfall."
Kai just stared at him in disbelief. "So is that why those brats keep scheming against me?"
"Probably," Jay suggested, only to earn a scowl in response. "And by the way Sensei, I kinda have a teeny, tiny little request as a teacher—"
"Oh, I've already heard that," Sensei replied, giving him a brief knowing look. "As long as Nya and Zane are alright with this new arrangement, I don't see any reason to refuse you."
"I have no issue with this," Zane chimed in, and Nya nodded in agreement.
"Oh, those kids don't know what's coming, alright," she grinned mischievously. "I can't wait for the experiments—"
It was then when the sound of ringing cut the air.
Cole's eyes immediately fell on the telephone.
"I will get it," Sensei told them, before any of them could bother getting up. Cole felt his eyebrows knit into a frown. Hang on, hadn't the last time that phone had gotten a call been when—
Jay's face was suddenly as pale as a sheet. "Please tell me they aren't going to enroll in another—"
"Hello. This is Darkley's Boarding School For Great Children how may I — brother?" Sensei blinked, sounding genuinely surprised at the fact the former dark lord was calling him at this point of the day. "Is everything alright?"
Cole watched questioningly as the old man's expression suddenly tightened, before then proceeding to take the deepest dive into confusion in the history of Ninjago.
"What do you mean?" Sensei asked incredulously, both of his eyebrows rising high enough to be concealed by the shadow of his straw hat. "Brother, of all the methods you could use to antagonize me—"
"What the heck is going on?" Jay whispered.
"No idea," Cole mouthed, continuing to listen intently with a deeper frown. Had Garmadon sprouted another pair of arms again or something?
Then, suddenly, the old master stilled, his golden eyes far wider than they had ever seen them. The knuckles of the hand holding the phone were visibly white with how tightly he was gripping it.
It was a while until he managed to bring himself to speak once again.
"A baby, Garmadon — what was he thinking—"
"What?" Nya gasped, and Kai's jaw dropped open at once, the hothead looking as though he was about to faint. Even Zane was no different.
What. On Earth. Was Going On.
"He is more like Father than I thought," Sensei lamented miserably, as though he very much regretted that fact.
He, Cole realized, taking note of that detail immediately. That could only mean Sensei was referring to—
"Alright, alright," Sensei sighed, his grip on the phone faltering slightly. "We'll be there, brother."
Then, he placed the telephone back on its holder, pushing it away immediately.
"What was that about, Sensei?" Nya asked.
The old master met her gaze tiredly, appearing as though he regretted hearing the sound of ringing in the first place.
He heaved out a sigh. "Garmadon has called."
Kai shot him a deadpan stare. "Yeah. We could tell—"
"I'm afraid we will need to leave the academy in the care of Dareth until we return," Sensei said, running a hand over his face wearily. "Garmadon requires our presence. As soon as possible."
"Well care to tell us why?" Jay crossed his arms. "And what was that about a baby?"
"You also used the third person pronoun 'he' at the three minute and thirty one second mark of your conversation," Zane pointed out, sounding genuinely curious. "That would most likely mean—"
"—that this is something related to Lloyd," Cole finished, unsurprised that the others had pieced it together too. "Master," he then asked hesitantly. "is Lloyd okay?"
"What the hell is happening?" Kai yelped.
Sensei closed his eyes, raising his head as though to stare at the ceiling in despair. "Dear First Spinjitzu Master."
"I think we broke him," Jay whispered mournfully. For the first time in his life, Cole was forced to agree.
"I believe this will be easier to explain once you have seen it for yourselves," Wu finally admitted, his voice painfully strained. Cole held back a grimace. "In the meantime, gather as many items that can be used to care for an infant as possible—I'm sure Garmadon will greatly appreciate it," he told them, giving them all a weak smile. "Now excuse me, I must go find Dareth."
Jay looked at them all in bewilderment after the old man had turned around and left. "But we don't even have baby stuff—"
"Exactly, so screw it," Kai hissed, something in his eyes now ablaze. "I'm going to head there now and storm the place until I find out what's going on. Who's with me?"
"Me," chorused four other voices without hesitation. After that, Nya suddenly furrowed her brow in concentration.
"I just really don't understand the baby part," she muttered, her forehead creasing as she continued to ponder on that thought. "You know, at first I was convinced that Sensei G and Misako had welcomed a baby — but then, that thing about Lloyd came along."
"Or maybe Lloyd's the baby?" Jay offered.
Cole's mind went blank.
"What?"
"You're kidding me," Kai said, his tone edged in disbelief. "No. There's no way."
"But what if there is?" Jay begged. "I mean, didn't Sensei mention something about Lloyd and the FSM?"
"He is correct," Zane confirmed with a nod. "There was a moment where Sensei expressed regret at their similarities — thus hinting that the current matter at hand is something the First Spinjitzu Master experienced himself."
"And what does Lloyd have that the FSM did, again? Power," Jay said, flailing his arms for emphasis. "We're not talking about just any power here — the golden shit."
"So you're saying Lloyd turned himself into a baby," Nya actually sounded more amused than scandalized at the suggestion. "Actually now that I think about it, that makes sense."
Cole stared at her like she'd just conjured a dragon. "Sense?"
"Yup," she hummed, and then gestured to Kai as though she was showing all of them an artistic masterpiece. "Just look at who's his mentor."
Kai let out a pained groan as all eyes fell on him. "Why is it always me—"
"I had hoped you would have an explanation for that," Zane said dryly. Kai buried his face into his hands.
"My baby brother, here I come," he mumbled, shaking his head.
Wu to Lloyd later : There is something I haven't told you—
Thanks for the ask!
Evil uncle and nephew bonding since canon Ninjago wasted this potential :')

Wilted... 👀👀👀
A.k.a an attempt at writing dysfunctional Lloyd & Misako content 🤣.
This takes place some time after Prime Empire. The ninja begin noticing that Lloyd's been acting a little off for the past few days, and he's a lot more distant than usual. Nya immediately assumes that he's hiding the fact he's sick or something but when she checks on him, she soon realizes that he isn't. Kai and Cole try talking to him as well, but Lloyd keeps assuring them that he's fine—that he's just tired and every other unbelievable excuse in the book. Jay suggests to the others that the kid might've had a secret break up that none of them know about, while Zane & Pixal decide to do some detective work.
Eventually, it spirals into Lloyd actually losing control of his powers — something that really takes the team by surprise because this hasn't happened ever since Lloyd was literally a child. (It's kind of like what happened to Nya in the beginning of Seabound, but just replace Water with Energy) That means flickering lights, breaking bulbs, exploding toasters, blowing up transformers and Lloyd himself being more exhausted than ever because most of his power is unintentionally being used in excess. It's around this time everyone realizes that there's something seriously wrong.
Of course, when they ask green bean about it, Lloyd keeps denying it and says that maybe it's because he hasn't been training with his powers that much recently. Everyone around him knows that's pure bull, because 1) how on Earth does an Elemental Master who spent years mastering their element suddenly forget how to control it, and 2) it's Lloyd talking. Even Wu's already had enough with his nephew at this point, and sternly tells him to stop playing games with the team because this was clearly serious. There's even a moment when Wu loses his patience by threatening to strip him of his element with Chronosteel if he doesn't explain at all, but Lloyd still doesn't tell him.
However, the ninja really have to do something about his powers blowing up every nearest electrical appliance so they make the decision to put a vengestone bracelet around his wrist that he himself can't remove. This pisses Lloyd off so much, but at the end of the day, it was definitely necessary. And considering that green bean's still not saying anything, it's gonna be a long time until they'll take it off because they can't solve his issue right now.
So this goes on for a while until Nya suggests something that just might work; finding Neuro. (Honestly, you would've thought this would be the first thing they would've thought off) The ninja and Wu waste no time doing this, and soon, they find out what's going on.
Needless to say, it's something that is definitely the most unexpected, but at the same time, it's not surprising.
So apparently Lloyd has some unresolved abandonment issues with Misako which have recently worsened for reasons they do not know yet. And yeah...she isn't here right now either.
Kai & the others aren't really happy with Misako after finding out about this, while Wu is kind of in denial because he thinks Misako's been quite present after reuniting with Lloyd in the museum. It takes him a while to realize that the answer is actually... no, just no.
So unbeknownst to Lloyd, the ninja & Wu start trying to get hold of Misako to get her to come back to the monastery. That's easier said than done by the way, but after a while, they manage to do it. They don't tell her about what they found out from Neuro though.
As for Lloyd, he's like really surprised that his mother finally came home after like...(2 seasons) And he's also not stupid either. They all know — that's why she's here — it's as simple as that. The ninja don't admit it when Lloyd confronts them, which frustrates him. Thankfully, Wu interrupts the argument and tells Lloyd to make the most out of what his friends have done for him by finding Misako, and leaves. Lloyd utterly hates that.
Then the next few days are literally just the ninja trying to set up Lloyd with his mother. (Imagine your friends setting you up despite your protests, but instead of a date, it's bonding time with your parent) This goes on for like multiple chapters until Lloyd's powers go back to normal, and him and Misako have a relationship as close as the one he had with Garmadon.
And that's literally the wip.
Screaming, crying and throwing up 🥹
Me imagining what would happen if they locked all the best fanfic writers of the fandom in a room & made them write a season.
garmadon's face so silly in first panel why is he just : (
New favourite headcanon.
So, in crystallised, the episode with Garmadon explaining where he's been, Garmadon gives a pizza delivery man one of Vinny's cameras.
But I like to think that it wasn't.
Vinny was at work during this time, right? So he had the camera with him. Yes, it could be a spare. That is most likely the truth. But going off Vinny's character, it doesn't seem like he would leave it out for Garmadon to break, at least not to me.
But I personally like to belive that it was a random dudes. Some paparazzi jerk who tried filming Garmadon when he was out so he stole it and ran. He still had it and so feels no remorse in giving it away to some delivery driver.
Plus we've seen Garmadon cares for Vinny in his sentiment "wipe your feet, Vinny just vacuumed" so it's clear he values Vinny efforts and work. Yes, Garmadon could just be a double sided asshat you doesn't give two shifts about Vinny's belongins in the tike of need and food, but it's a funny thoigh nonetheless.
This comes across more as a theory than a headcanon, but what you you think? Either way I find it funny.
So I saw this tweet and
It reminded me of a theory I once had about Crystalized — which got quickly debunked when the trailer for part 2 came out (no surprise there)
But I just thought that when Lloyd goes apeshit, Garm comes back into the picture and is forced to fight him — only, he's back to being Sensei Garmadon once more on the inside. My dude finds himself in a position where he's supposed to save his son like how Lloyd saved him before but...he doesn't. He can't.
So in others words, Crystalized ends with Lloyd dying like Morro. Maybe Lloyd would think the only way to be redeemed after all he's done is by deciding to do some sacrifice to destroy the Overlord...once and for all, this time.
And Garm watches. He'd feel the guilt forever.
What are Misako’s brothers like?
Oh man,,, I have actually personified Misako's older brother and her one younger brother and youngest sister only... but here's what they're like
Most of Misako's brothers have been, unfortunately, conditioned to be woman haters. It extends to the only girl in the family, since Montgomery keeps on having wives to 'protect' the family name. All of them, even Misako's younger siblings, had children before her, and while her own family line is severed, Lloyd has a bunch of cousins in the central part of Ninjago.
So, here they are
-
Itsuki (壱城)
Since Montgomery means king of the mountain, his means 'one castle'
Oldest of the entire Montgomery family, three years older than Misako.
He and Misako are the only fully biological siblings, since their mother died during his younger sister's birth
Itsuki never forgave her for this, because... he's being petty and he's copying his dad.
He's the one that looks and acts mature, but he's definitely not emotionally developed
He has a resting poker face, no matter how many times his dad tries to get him to smile in photos.
He actually respects Misako and her passion, but just like all the rest, cut her out of the family completely and never brought her up again.
He's the smartest of all the siblings, barring Misako (she's arguably a lot smarter than he is) and the scholar of the family. His siblings didn't like him for his so called haughty nature, but that's probably because he was
He didn't marry, because according to him, he didn't want girls to suffer the fate of being forced into marriage with him. He also has a hatred for children.
Maelstrom
Second son, younger than Misako for one year
The opposite of Itsuki; a lot more extroverted, less emotionally constipated, and very hands-on with his involvement.
Prefers Misako and her adventurous nature more to Itsuki's quieter and anti-social one. That is, until Montgomery started to teach him Women Bad
Is actually the most tolerant of the brothers, but he does the bare minimum so don't get your hopes up.
Had four children with one wife- after she died he refused to remarry and turned to drinking. It does more harm to his family than good.
He hates Misako after disgracing their family name and leaving her promised husband to another man. In drunken times, his kids could hear him swearing about her.
In times when he's sober, he actually does a good job managing the household and having rationally-inclined thoughts
Ayumi 彩美
Her name means vivid beauty, because I like to think Misako's kanji also had a beauty character in it.
The youngest of the Montgomery family, she was just a year old when Misako left them, which was like in her early twenties.
She's a little less 'smart' than Misako, but that's more like she lacks the spacial awareness around her surroundings. She's a very nice kid, though, and she's just a really kind and nurturing person.
So that the Misako controversy won't ever happen again, Montgomery and his third wife arranged Ayumi with her childhood friend, Haneul Ahn, immediately when they started taking a liking to each other. TAGOMJTR readers if ur reading this u already know what's happening
She and Haneul married at 16, and immediately had their firstborn girl at 17. She was pressured by her father and her own husband to have another Heir, and this is when her marriage with Haneul started to break
She's basically Misako except she hadn't escaped her situation
I'll probably draw them at some given time, especially Ayumi and Haneul.
Trying to get back into drawing ft. Lloyd!!
Lloyd and Lord G are my coping mechanism. I'm also on FFNet and AO3 And yeah, I can't draw.
