Sharing All My Opinions About Class B Characters!

I’m a pretty big Honenuki fan, though I don’t care for him as much as others, I still really like him. I began liking him from that first appearance in season 2. I don’t have many issues with him, again, it’s a hero outfit issue.

I am a big fan of his personality, I liked how we got to see him change depending on the situation. I really liked him in the JTA, we got to see how he interacts with his class and how he handles situations. Being more smart and clever, but when things go wrong almost panic before coming up with something. I was also a fan of how he was shown caring for his classmates, trying to reassure them.

Now his overall design I like, even if I don’t understand the reasoning behind the teeth. Well, lack of lips. But as I said before, it’s his hero outfit I have problems with. It’s not bad, believe me it doesn’t look horrible, but it feels weird. It feels to block, which makes sense, and I mostly think that’s just an issue with how it’s drawn. However, I have a problem with the random green on his shoes (at least it’s there in the anime). It’s no where else on him, so it looks so out of place and weird. That’s really my only problem with it.

I somewhat mentioned some of my favorite Honenuki ships in other posts, specifically Honenuki x Kuroiro and Honenuki x Tetsutetsu. I like those, but other than those I don’t necessarily ship him with anyone at all. I just haven’t really found anyone he works so well with I heavily ship it.

I think overall Honenuki gets a 9.5/10 from me, a point off for the weird design of his hero outfit, but only a half point since it’s just a small detail I can typically ignore.
