Trump brought proud, outward Nazism into the Republican Party. Antisemitism has always been somewhere in both. But Trump brought loud Nazism to the Republican Party. People cheered when they saw two Nazi/Roman salutes on stage. Loud and proud Nazism is on display in the Republican Party, one of the two main parties in the United States.
As a transsexual male, I don’t consider myself biologically female. For one, biology is the study of life, not the study of birth. Also, many things are biological. I’d say biological sex is a combination of body parts, hormones, chromosomes, and your brain. I’d say my body is mostly male. I have a (micro)penis, but no testicles, which not all cisgender men definitely have (whether from birth or from an accident). I have facial hair, a male facial structure, and muscle growth lining up with that of a male’s. At some point my body will be completely male too, as in I will have a penis and testicles. I have normal hormone levels for a male. I’m taking testosterone as a shot, but tons of cisgender males need to as well. I have no clue what my chromosomes are and barely anyone else knows theirs as well. However, I remember finding that a lottt of people with Klinefelter Syndrome ended up being trans women, and seeing some trans women with XX chromosomes, so I wonder if the chromosomes of transsexual people are more likely to match the gender they identify as. Onto brain, at last. Well, that’s the whole point of being transsexual. My brain is male. So to me, I am more biologically male than female.
My mother recently said that she hopes that Trump focuses on immigration so that he kind of forgets about transgender people. I do understand. Of course, my biggest worry of all is what will happen in my own life. However, it reminds me of the Martin Niemöller quote. If all the immigrants are gone, because I did not speak up for them, who will speak up for me?

I really don’t trust the major support for Luigi Mangione. There is a certain group that people call elite, globalists, rich, evil, oppressive, etc. even though they aren’t, duh. And I certainly don’t trust Americans with that. Vigilantism shouldn’t be encouraged. The second you say “it’s okay for person A to kill person B because this or that” you’ve gone too far because that allows A LOT based on different people. I think of Emmett Till (“its okay for us to do this, because he was being sexually aggressive,” which we know now that he actually wasn’t). But horseshoe theory I guess. No one has the right to play God (why I’m against the death penalty as well!). Another thing, being violent, as a form of political resistance, shouldn’t be supported. As a queer (white) person, that’s something I really am inspired by as part of the Civil Rights Movement, and wish there was less violence in the history of queer political resistance, since it was non-violence that changed so much in America with civil rights. Now there’s even support for the cyber truck bomb guy. Which, I know no one was killed except for himself, but c’mon, really? Why don’t we all go back to what we learned in elementary school? You can’t fight fire with fire, two wrongs don’t make a right.

If Biden decided today to pull his own Night of the Long Knives, and kill a good sum of American police officers, I wonder how leftists would react. I feel like we’ve seen some answers from their reactions to Luigi Mangione. If murder is okay for bad people, murder becomes okay for anyone. That’s the same way Hitler worked. And it won’t solve anything either. What’s the plan from here? Kill all the other CEOs? Then, kill all the people who replaced them? Repeat? I’m shocked with the amount of intelligent people applauding this (and I’m not saying you have to condemn it, I couldn’t care less and I support him because I’ll support any Italian).

I wrongly trusted a Christian Zionist. And I know what they are like. My (Christian) grandma will go on and on about Israel and cry for the Jews, but minutes later will say that all Jews will go to Hell for not believing in Jesus.
I’ve known this friend for four years now and became much closer with him last year when he expressed anger at the people applauding October 7th. We’ve spent the last year talking about this stuff, sending each other ridiculous things said, and sending happy Jewish culture things. It’s been great. In a lonely time in most other places, I did not feel alone because of him.
And yet, he voted for Trump. I don’t get it. It goes against so much of what we agreed on (outside of Israel as well). Sorry, but a man saying he’ll deport the “enemies from within” (being democrats)(source), he’ll declare a national emergency and use the military for mass deportations (source), he’d get away with killing someone (source), and police should have “one really violent day” (source) sounds all too familiar. If you voted for that today (and, Hell, one of those comments goes back to 2016), I have no doubt you’d vote for the man (who’s also a felon but “better for the economy!”) saying the same exact things in 1933.
