To each their own but I feel like the allure OF Malleyuu is how Malleus *can’t* have a meaningful relationship with anyone who is of his world, especially those who are of high-status themselves, because of how people either worship the ground he walks on or automatically avoid him bc of his status as an insanely powerful mage…. so I’m super confused when I see so many royalty aus where they’re both of royal blood 😭 I feel like Malleus and Yuu and good for each other BECAUSE of their respective intense loneliness and how they can relate to each other in a way no one else could ever understand (Yuu’s from literally being torn from their own dimension vs Malleus’ from being isolated in a castle all his life + never having interacted with someone without his status getting in the way).
