Kind of annoys me when people draw Deadpool without his mask and make his skin baby smooth, especially to make shipping him more palatable.

Or in their marvel AU put another character in the role of Deadpool by giving them the suit and the powers without including the affect of those powers on the appearance (because god forbid you show your blorbo's as anything other than attractive)

It's a pretty vital part of that character's backstory that you are just erasing because it isn't pretty.

This is a man with terminal cancer, who is regularly cut into shreds, burned to a crisp, and snapped into tiny bits like a twig. No matter how much you can heal, stuff like that will permanently mark you.

Grow a spine, and show a contorted testicle of a man instead of a prettyboy for once. And if pretty is your 'style' find a way to MAKE wrinkles, scars, burns, and baldness pretty to you without just doing away with them.

Because to me it seems shallow and ableist (not that you have to BE such things to do this, but the reasonings behind these actions can have those connotations without someone really thinking about it.)
