I Mentioned That I Was Making A Playlist For My Branches & Thorns Au, Right? Well, Here They Are!! Yep,

I’m making a new Trolls fic called Different Path, Different Troll (I’m still workshopping the name).

The gist of it is:

Branch is worried about the safety of the village and sick of how he’s treated as an outcast. He doesn’t trust them to not lead a Bergen straight to Pop Village. Since his bunker won’t keep them safe permanently, he goes off to search for a new home that the bergens will not find. With an unexpected tag-along (Cooper), Branch encounters other trolls that he never knew existed. Some of these new trolls include a couple of well known bounty hunters.

Im still making the outline of the story, but I’m working on the first chapter. Hope I can get out the first chap in a week or so!! As per my last fic, I’ll have around 1,000 words per chap and my uploading schedule will be mostly random but at most I’ll have a chapter every 2-3 days.

Since I plan to add songs into my fic, I’ve created a Spotify playlist called “Different Path, Different Trolls” on my Spotify acc “Hookfang”. There you’ll see some songs that will potentially be added. It is not a definite list.

Sometimes I wonder how Steb felt as a medic having to use The Grey, whether he felt guilty and unable to refuse because Caitlyn was his superior, whether he did so reluctantly because he heard of the plans the councilors had with waging war on the undercity, whether he agreed because he figured that Jinx and Silco would cause more damage both to Piltover and the undercity—did he feel guilt afterwards hearing that Jinx wasn't captured? Did he feel responsible for the people in Piltover inhaling The Gray? Did he wonder if any innocent Zaunites were injured during the gassing? If all the people who he and the Strike Team hurt were truly evil or if they were forced into working for Silco and the Chem Barons because they didn't have any other option?

have you considered that other people have imagination? and that they can see good in people's faces without the need for words? that they are capable of imagining what a character would be like outside of the few scenes they're in, just from subtle expressions and details about their personality? that some of us don't need to know someone to see that they are worthy of kindness and love and attention?

Kind of like how Scar is a Chirean, I came across a word I liked that could define Steb's amphibian nature.

What do we think about "Salientian"?

Pronounced like: "Sale-ee-en-shan" or "Say-lee-en-shan" (maybe?)

I’m workshopping the name but so far I’m calling it my Thorns & Branches AU for short. I’m even starting to make a playlist and daydreaming how certain scenes will go down and have named of some ocs that will be featured in part of the series 😋 (that I will maybe eventually make)
