There is many things I am writing and researching on for Doctor Strange. Listing the following:
The Sanctum Sanctorum and how it is a living organism.
The doctor + metamorphosis (and exuding cosmic darkness... transgender horror/allegory...).
Appearances. Wardrobe. And how his presence gives off to others (especially humans). You slowly hallucinate.
The other world the doctor resides in. To access, you must go through a desert followed by bizarre stages of sorts... think The Holy Mountain (1973).
I'm building up a queue and proofreading prior to posting but I think I deserve to be on Steve Rogers again.
That, and my husband remembered his Superman login so... find me on @enguerra
One has to think deeply about how Doctor Strange is a sole protector of the world from unnatural forces [beyond comprehension] and how he has driven into the madness of the universe once he lift the veil of reality..
Strange + Voice
His voice demands the whole room, it's a raw and haunting presence; depth, the nuances of it that make it unmistakable. A piercing quality. Yet... you can't help but feel like he sounds familiar. It's calming, riding on air, and can slowly send someone into hallucination (same as if you were to stare at him for too long). And quietly, his vocal has a doubling echo. For reference, he sounds like this.
When someone is deep in hallucination, it's more uncomfortable. The speech becomes reverse. There's more intonations in the words and becomes disoriented.
You must understand that Doctor Strange is always going through metamorphosis. His body is constantly changing, and baring intestines and other [inner] parts that you didn't know could exist in a man. This does affect his eating habits as he (canonically) can not digest human food, so he has to follow a diet that involves devouring blasphemous beings.
Almost always, he's in some sort of pain.

❛ this is not a debate ! ❜ / back to do what she does best: argue
❝ ——You say this as if I care.❞ Full of [overpowering] venom. The voice rode on the stale air, swelling up. (Whatever twisting intestines, something unruly takes its place; nothing humanistic. The pain bared like second skin. Diaphragm expanding then tearing, reassembled, mote by mote. ) He remains observing Ismahan, hawk-like, until he's felt he's stretched the silence enough between them. ❝ My patience is wearing thin. Always with you. ❞
