So here’s more art that I made before, pre journey stuff with a bit of au lore explained

Baby wukong :)) (Stone Monkey)

So in this au Stone Monkey was… born from a stone, lol. Nothing changed there, however unlike the rest of the troop he grew up with he aged and matured faster into an adult cause he isn’t exactly a normal mortal. So while the rest of the monkeys that would technically be “his age” would’ve still been infants he would’ve looked a couple months older.

He did normal monkey things in the time being. He didn’t have anyone look after him except for himself so he had to learn to be self sufficient. He was pretty much an outcast because his troop was like “Ermm we don’t remember someone birthing you lmao” and also he looked a bit different so yeah. They let him stick around regardless, but did they really interact with him? Not really.

Despite this he still loved his troop and tried to do as much as he can to get their approval and help them when he could, what a sweet boy! He did eventually gain their approval and was liked after he jumped through the waterfall and so on and so on.

He did have one friend, which will be explained in a separate post!

Also does this count as an AU? I would assume so since this isn’t like 100% accurate to the og and it’s my own version? I’m sure this counts, but feel free to correct me if I’m wrong :)

Part 2 of my JTTW designs are finally here!

Did I say I was gonna draw the LMK characters based on how I thought they looked during JTTW? Yes.

Did I immediately go back on my word to draw Macaque in Chinese Opera attire instead despite knowing 100% that this is not at all what he would wear during JTTW? Also yes.

It's fine though, I'm just gonna turn this into my own personal little thing ig lol

I have to admit, I'm not super happy with Nezha, so I might re-do him later on if I think of something else.

(I know Macaque's wound doesn't really look like he was pierced through the eye with a staff, but in all fairness I wasn't particularly eager to look at any references so this is the best you're getting👍)
