I saw this store in Los Angeles in the 80’s and went in and asked if DeForest Kelley owned the store. The guy at the counter sighed and said he was asked that all the time and no it was just the owner’s last name. He said “You Star Trek people must love that DeForest guy!” I replied “Well yes, we do!”
I would have loved to have DeForest’s name in two foot letters.

I am weak for fanfics when Spock is sick/injured or in some kind of emotional distress and he’s just like “i’m fine” and then Jim or Leonard (or ✨both✨) come and they’re just like “are you though?” And if you have any fics like that, I am begging you, support your local addict and send them.
