The endless forest stretched out beyond your eyesight— in a way it was haunting. You ran as if a wolf was nipping at your heels— you supposed it wasn’t far from the truth. You leaped behind a tree, pressing your back against the rough bark.

“ You hiding from me? “ you could hear your name being screamed out as his hysteria grew. The wind wailed between the trees, Coriolanus swore he could hear your voice— taunting him. The leaves crunched under his foot— walking deeper into the forest. He was close— too close for comfort. You could run for it— you should run for it. But your legs felt like jelly and your knees were locking together.

However, the fear of getting caught by him and the fate that awaited you was terrifying— so with a racing heart, you ran like mad. The trees beside you blurred as you continued running. You had thrown away stealth and instead gone for speed. At the corner of your eye you swore you saw a glinting metal aiming at you.

There was a loud ‘ BANG! ‘ and your body had hit the floor. Blood was pooling beneath you as a scream ripped out of your lungs. You gripped onto your pant leg as you tried to hold your cries of pain. Tears leaked the corner of your eyes as pain coursed throughout your entire body. Through your blurry eyesight you saw him— Coriolanus Snow heading your way with a gun loosely held in his palms. He looked down at you, with eyes narrowing. Piercing through your very soul— “ you were running from me “

Terror washed over you, raising the fine hairs on your back. He shot you— now your bleeding out in the forest all because you had ran from him. Was he going to kill you now? Because of your disobedience? Or was it because you knew too much? The color quickly drained from your face. Oh god— he was going to kill you and leave you here to rot.

He raised the gun towards you, “ You’ll regret running from me’ “ he vowed.

The gun pressed against your forehead. He grinned at you cruelly, ❝ Well? I don't like asking twice❞, he murmured, his eyes glued to your shaking figure. You sobbed, choking gasps that spilled past your lips as tears streamed down your cheeks. When your mouth started to quiver and cry, there was an ‘empty click’ that echoed through the still room. A short scream escaped past your lips. Hands coming up to cover your face from the threat. ❝ Tick-Tock ❞ he mocked, pressing the gun closer to your forehead.

Your heart pounded with anxiety as your lips trembled. ❝ Yes—! I’ll marry you!❞ You shakily managed to say the words he's been hoping to hear while having a heart full of fear. He raised the gun to his temples, finger pressed on the trigger. Another ‘ empty click ‘ rung out the empty silence. Short rumbles of laughter spilled from his lips as he smirked menacingly. He carelessly threw the gun across the floor. You flinched at the sound, even without the gun he was an imposing man. Intimidating to the bone— and grasped a terrifying amount of power over you.

He pulled you close to him, hands caressed your face as you sobbed before him, stifling your sobs and hiccups. He gave you a rough but messy kiss on the lips as though you were his lifeline.

He stared down at the rotted corpse, there is no remorse or sympathy that he feels. His predecessor failed in killing Jake sully— and now he’s here to finish what he couldn’t do. The green fletching arrows were intimidating— and struck horror in the depths of his chest. He doesn’t know if it’s his own delusion but he swears he feels a ghost of pain in his chest and torso— in the exact same spot his counter body was shot at.

Besides him Lyle patted down the skeleton, hesitating as his fingers came in contact with a crinkled piece of paper tucked inside a pocket. Quaritch was lost in his own dilema, dusting off the leftover debris from the human skull in the palm of his hands. ❝ Colonel— this belongs to you❞ Lyle motioned to the folded paper while nervously flicking his tail. Quaritch snatched the paper from his hand and unfolded the wrinkled paper sheet. It was a photo— of you. You were smiling, eyes sparkling in delight. You were gazing down at a floral bouquet— riddled with the rare plants of Pandora. You begged him— hell even pleaded with him to make you one.

And his human counter part couldn’t tell you no. Instead he sent out his group of men along with a few scientist to bring him those specific flowers that you wanted. He sees now just how crafty you were— those flowers were incredibly difficult to get. They were found in parts of the jungle that humans weren’t able to access due to the danger of hostile predators. You had given him a specific list of just what you wanted— claiming you wanted nothing but the best. And he— he could provided them for you couldn’t he? Because he was the Colonel, he was a man who could do it all. In truth— they were more than just meets the eye. The scientist had wanted their greedy little hands on them but weren’t able due to the restriction of the area.

You were a smart little thing— able to batt your eyelashes at him and purr at his chest. Seducing him to your whims. You had gotten what you wanted from him— and well it’s not like he didn’t get what he wanted— everything has a price after all. It was only until later that he realized the truth of your actions and affection towards him— but it was far too late for him to care. You could use him for as much as you like, as long as you stayed in his embrace.

His thumb brushed against the picture, wishing willfully to have you back in his arms. He pocketed the picture in his vest, he’ll have you back soon in his arms. For now— he would have to settle with this photo.

#SYNOPSIS— general headcanons of yandere anbu/root Tenzo

Meeting Tenzo would be spontaneous not something to double take. But for him it’s the small act of kindness that get to him. Nothing that would deem to be remembered but considering he’s part of an organization where children kill each other to survive it’s hard not to remember the small selfless moments without thinking they have some hidden motive. He’ll be confused, why would you do such a thing? And to him? Was it pity? An order from Danzo? Or some secret motive to kill him? He didn’t understand, he was far too confused to comprehend your selfless actions.

He’ll follow you around, stalking you in the shadows. Eyeing every little thing you do, he’ll learn your ins and outs. What you dislike and what you like. Hell, he might as well learn every route you take towards the shopping district/the marketing district. So he does, and he grows some weird obsession over you. You were far too kind to others than they were to you, selfish and honorable. So kind and noble, someone who was pure unlike him. He would never dare to present himself to you—not yet. He couldn’t let Danzo know about you, if he did he’ll use you against him. So he results in being your bodyguard from the shadows,

If he were to be bold, he’ll drop by your apartment/house and grow small flowers around your lawn.He’ll want to make sure his interest is known in you even if you don’t understand what’s happening. You might as well take it as a courting gift. His heart flutters whenever you water the plants he’s gifted you. He’ll leave little trinkets and notes for you, hoping you’ll accept each gift he gives you.

It wasn’t long before he met Kakashi, the man who had shown the light from the dark tunnel. He managed to save him, took him form the shadows and showed him just what it is to protect a village who cares about their comrades. It wouldn’t take Kakashi long to figure out Tenzo/Yamato has an interest in someone. He’ll put two and two together and try pushing Tenzo/Yamato to the right direction, he won’t understand just how infuriated Tenzo/Yamato really is with you. He’ll grow nerves of steel and bump into you whenever he can, apologizing like the kind gentlemen he is. He’ll force himself into your life little by little, coming off as the nice kind shinobi he is. Anyone could see he’s a total catch, a flustered man who easily turns red. Who wouldn’t want him?
