So An Idea I Have For A Story Or Something Is Maybe King Dedede Parents Were A Male Selkie And A Female

So for this fanfic idea I have is that everything is going good, N.M.E. is dead and king dedede is a good guy now and escargoon is happy and everyone is happy and good, it's a good end to the adventures for now, but then Tiff and Tuff is wakened up by a scurrying, and they see a small demon imp thing take two things that are important to them, so they chase after it and when they try to grab it they pass out and wake up in a new and colorless world, they have to go and find a way out but on the way they face monsters and dangerous lands all alone, they see some monsters thar are kind and some that aren't and same with people, over time they see that the world isn't as colorless but you just have to see it a certain way, they slowly learn that the world is actually the place where myths and folk lore come to die, when people forget and drive them away, there is fairies and selkies and swan maidens and werewolves and dragons, they learn that the food and water is poisonous to normal folk, but they ate and drank and they didn't die, when they meet the swan maidens and selkies they seem to know them and are extra friendly, they help them get some of their pelts and feathers back, most are super grateful for their help but some get sad and a little aggressive since they don't want to be an animal, they want to stay on land, but now they can't since the pull is too much. They also learn that their mother is a swan maiden and their father is a selkie, and then they have to go to the hive which is a place with many imps and the like, after sneaking about they learn that an imp stole their pelts and feathers from their birth and their parents, they at the end have a choice.

So I've been getting into folklore, irish folklore and I thought about undertale and made the connection in my head

The dogs/dog like enemies are wolfwalkers

And I was thinking of torial and Astrale and the king (I can't spell his name) being the Tuatha de danann or fairies

This is Kabbu from FIA AU. His "mask" is actually Kabbu's outer mouth parts (don't know the name) he just keeps it like this unless he eats something.

BTW Kabbu in my AU is a omnivore. He mostly eats plants (basically any plant) but he will occasionally eat small wild animals when he is alone. Also where he came from it is somewhat a tradition to fight for honor sometimes to the death.

(Some might eat the dead but it's very rare)

Mostly flat teeth but very very sharp canine teeth and the teeth behind it kinda, not as sharp could be used to crush up tough plants but also any creature that was unfortunate to get caught by a hungry Kabbu.

So in this au vi was kidnapped and taken away by some people from another kingdom, on the way they got killed and baby vi fell all the way down and into hollownest with injuries but still alive, a uninfected beetle took them in and raised them for a while but when they started to get dreams of a certain moth they handed over the little bee to the hive, the hive took her in and raised her as there own and it was going well and she is a teenager but then Vespa died and so the hive fell away and vi had to abandon the home that she knew, she uses her knowledge of how to make and use spears and a boomerang like thing to make her way out if hollownest after seeing and realizing that she can't stay any longer, she uses her knowledge to make her way to bugaria where she ends up stumbling into the explorer place where you start the game, she can't really understand the language and no one understands her really, but she clings onto kabbu cause he reminds her of the beetle who took her in and so they get paried up, no one recognized her as the baby bee who was taken cause her time in hollownest changed her and she is just nearly unreasonable, anyways she and kabbu make there way into snakemouth den and she can't read or talk or even understand half of what anyone's saying so she has like no idea what the danger she's getting herself into, during the spider fight she doesn't run away and nearly dies and her wings are torn slightly and so for most of the story she can't fly and near the time you learn to carry kabbu is the time that her wings healed and the only reason she can't fly faster or farther is cause kabbu is heavy since bugaria people are well fed most of the time and also she hasn't used her wings in a while and she's still sore and outa practice slightly, by the end she has a better understanding of the language and can slightly read some words and can talk okayish and can understand people better, and after they defeat the wasp king, they talk about there lives as kids and stuff and vi decides to one day maybe bring them to whatever is left of hollownest, but only in the future, where no one will be left alone hopefully so there won't be any infection left.

So an idea I have for a story or something is maybe king dedede parents were a male selkie and a female penguin, and so when he was born maybe he had his pelt taken away or hidden by his mother or maybe she hid it after he almost got hurt or something, or maybe when he was young he saw a portal thing that took him to planet popstar but he accidentally left his seal skin back with his family, maybe he lost it somewhere on planet popstar, maybe when kirby and the forgotten land happened maybe it was found again by kirby or meta knight or king dedede himself, maybe he could turn into a seal again or maybe it has been so long that he forgot how or maybe it is too small for him to put on, maybe if he can't turn into a seal with it maybe he turns it into a cloak or maybe he gives it to meta knight or kirby without telling them what is was.

I might make a story or short fanfic or something about bioshokc but some of the characters are selkies, like they are already under the water, maybe they lost their pelts during the fall of rapture or their pelts were already lost before the came down. Like look at how they look, like stanley poole or Johnny topside is definitely being a gray seal just cause of the looks, and I'll write a draft for the story and then after a little hit I'll write the rest of the story, probably more then one story and with different characters being the selkie, like one story is Johnny topside being the selkie and then with the other story sinclair might be a selkie instead.

Thinking of Johnny topside but as a selkie and what it would mean for subject delta

Would Subject Delta see his old seal skin and know that it's his, would he just see it and not know?

When they turned Johnny Topside into Subject Delta did they take the seal skin and toss it away, in the trash or in a fire to be turned to ash? Would Johnny Topside know or see them throw his seal skin away? Or would they keep it? Would try try to splice it or turn it into something like seal skin boots, or would they just keep it in a box somewhere

Or did they let him keep it? If you took off Subject Deltas armor would his seal skin be somewhere in there? Melted into him or just against him?

If he found his seal skin and it was intact would he just leave it? Seeing it as nothing of interest? Leaving it to rot along with rapture? Or would he grab it? Would he know what it truly was or would he just find it interesting? Would he try to gift it to Eleanor or Sinclair?

If he does survive getting up to the surface do you think he would crave the ocean? Do you think he would feel guilty about having a want to go to the sea?

If he died and he gave the skin to Eleanor would she know what it truly is? That the seal skin is her father but not, that it's the only part of Johnny Topside that's left, how would it feel that the last gift your father give you is the last part of him that's not really him, Subject Delta and Johnny Topside are two different people but also the same, Subject Delta came from Johnny Topside, Johnny had to die for Delta to live...

If Subject Delta gotten out of the suit would he still be able to turn into a seal? Or would he have forgotten how? Would he want to but not be able to?

Would he stay up and night and feel guilty at feeling at home in the sea? Rapture was hell but it calmed his instincts to go to the sea, it was oddly homily, now he not only has to deal with being on the surface for the first time but also having the want to go back to the place he spent so long trying to leave.
