The Shower

For months, my best friend Mark had been hinting at the idea of wanting to be with my pretty wife, Melissa. He was testing the waters with me to see my reaction - first joking about it, and then being more direct.

I had always known that Melissa found Mark very attractive, and decided that I wouldn’t stand in their way if this is what she wanted, no matter how humiliating their romance would feel.

A few weeks ago, Mark called me to tell me he was planning to stay with us on the coming weekend. I mentioned this to Melissa, and she was fine with it.

The day before his visit, Mark told me outright: “I am going to make love to Melissa this weekend. You know that, right?” I felt a lump in my throat and offered a nervous laugh in response. We both knew he wasn’t joking.

From the minute he came into my house, he began charming Melissa. And it was working. He masterfully got her to loosen up and she openly flirted back, without hesitation. After dinner, Mark suggested that I run out to the store to pick up some wine. He said that I should take my time.

My heart was racing as I drove off. It was clear that he was going to make his move. Melissa enjoyed flirting with him, but would she actually let him take it further?

I did take my time, as Mark insisted. When I returned almost an hour later, they were nowhere in sight. I heard the shower running and breathed a sigh of relief, as I assumed they were not in bed together. But then I heard the unmistakable cries of Melissa moaning, and the low, deep sounds of grunting.

I forced myself to walk closer to the shower, my whole body trembling at the thought of what I would find. I pushed open the bathroom door and almost passed out from shock, as I saw the two of them locked in a passionate embrace though the steamy shower door. I watched in silence for a full minute as I could see that Mark was making good on his intention.

I left the bathroom and closed the door behind me, giving them privacy. I gathered a few items from my bedroom and brought them to the guest room, where I would spend the rest of the weekend.

However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can perhaps buy precious time to get themselves to a phone and dial 911.
