stephen hawking and stan lee were both gigantic homophobes; stephen hawking was abusive to his first wife and was a terrible, selfish person throughout nearly his whole life. and stan lee hated any version of spiderman that wasn't white + straight. it's okay to think that their work was great but they weren't good people. especially stephen hawking.

if you really think that Stephen abused his wife then leave. they loved each others, he loved her but their marriage was still troubled so they divorced and Stephen suffered from it just as much as Jane did. they knew that their relationship couldn’t go on like that and they left each others but not without suffer. in fact, they were still great friends even after marriage. actually, after doing some resarches, it looks like HE was being abused by his second wife

and for Stan, all he said was “it’s ok to make a non white male character, but make your own one and don’t make me change my characters” and i absolutely agree with him. you want to make a black bi woman superhero? fine! but make your own character, don’t shove your agena on already existing characters. i mean, Stan? racist? i thought you all loved Black Panter when it first came out. and like, he was so racist that he literally made tons of comics about how bad racism is?

they were both great men, and i particulary had a great admiration for Stephen Hawking, who made me love science and space with his books and work, who made me want to protect this planet, to see humans leave and travel trough the stars, who made feel the joy of discovery and who always makes me remember that is unimportant how much life sucks, you will succed in something. and for Stan? as i said i’m not the biggest superheroes comics fan but i loved Spiderman, he teached me so much, he was truly a thing and a great man. these two men smiles put a smile on my own face

this is just the representation of why i hecking hate Tumblr, i’ve seen so many things here that pissed me off, you guys have no idea
