Fyodor Dostoevsky was known to sketch in his manuscripts. Osamu Dazai painted with oils and was very interested in fine arts. Fun fact the main character in No Longer Human also wanted to go to art school and become an artist. There's actually a lot of mention of yozo liking making art in no longer human.

So of course i had to draw their twink versions painting together. <3

guys this is going to sound really dumb. but. like does julian have other classes in other years? so THE greek class (richard, henry, etc.) are all in the same year of college, but obviously there are years younger than them, and people who used to be before them. like who did julian teach before them? who else does he teach if he does? this is what i’m curious about. 😔

I hate when people are discoursing on The Secret History and are like "oh I never fell for it, I knew they were pretentious assholes the whole time" like okay???? I'm sorry you have such a devastating lack of imagination. sorry you missed out on the silliest and loveliest part of the book. that's sad.
