An illustration for TIFF’s 180 summer program guide called TOGA! The Reinvention of the American Comedy. 

I jammed quite a few characters from a crazy number of films in here. Definitely a challenge. A huge thank you to my awesome Art Director David Gee for helping me with this. Since it’s so big, I included some detail shots too, hope you guys like it!

I totally agree, BUT to be more specific (and very tragic), if I'm not wrong, Egon's body was dragged into a ghost trap. They did not show the scene in the film because it was going to be too violent, but yes. She most probably noticed he hadn't come out of his farm for a couple of days, decided to check, and...found the trap.

That's honestly very sad :(

do you ever think about how, in their later years, she kept in touch with him when everyone else was convinced he’d lost his mind? do you ever think about how it was likely Janine who found Egon’s lifeless body? do you think she remembered that night in 1984, when she looked into his eyes and predicted this?
