I find it so disrespectful for parents to give their kids shit for liking Kpop. I really do. Parents don’t know everything, they don’t know our emotions, they don’t know how we think, so how the hell can they sit there and call us delusional/weird for liking a certain genre of music. Parents that say “So you like asians now?” “They look like girls” or “Why do you listen to Korean music?” are despised by me. Your family should support your hobbies and interests if it makes you happy, and it sucks when you’re afraid to share your interests in your own home. It’s like the family joke.
