21.4.17 || my desk is a mess so I’m on the floor

For many months, your name was mentioned in my prayers… You were in my sight but not in my grasp… I finally reached you, barely touching you for a second… And before I knew it, you were gone… You were gone, as quickly as you came… And now all I can do is pray for you…

I won’t pray for our paths to cross. I will pray that you find happiness and peace, wherever you go… And I’ll pray that you remain steadfast, until the angels greet you at the gate…

And I will pray, that I may see you there.

Only He knows if I will want to talk to you again… I might just catch a glance of you from afar, and smile at your happiness, before I return to my own…

How sad is it that we pray to God, but our minds are elsewhere. I ask Allah to not allow our hearts to be so attached to this dunya and our minds so preoccupied with it. Especially when we worship Him. May He forgive us.

Friendly Reminder for Muslims (and also for myself)

If there’s a Muslim corrects you about a bid'ah (innovation) you have done, and you keep giving them excuses logically ; then the first thing you MUST to do is question your heart that you are following your logic & desire — OR — youre following the Deen.

Remember, the religion you are upon is NOT your religion. It’s Allāh’s religion. So follow His & His Messenger’s rules. DO NOT mix your cultures (when it contradicts with Islam) with religion because cultures WILL NOT help you in akhirah.

May Allāh protect all of us. Aameen. ♡
