I guess, I haven't posted this art with smoking Rog here yet
I have no newer arts rn, so here it goes then...
Queen - Hungarian Rhapsody (1986)
"John and Roger were very close, being the youngest ones in Queen. In the early days they would always make fun of the stupidest things and laugh constantly. They were best friends, and they grew closer as Queen got older."
-Brian May (unsourced)
underrated duo
On Nov 27th 1973 Queen performed in
Birmingham, UK, Town Hall during the Queen I Tour. Queen were support act for Mott The Hoople.
Here you see 3 original photos from the era and music paper adds to promote tour with Mott. All from Queen Rare Archive on Facebook.
33 years ago, a man died, but a legend was born...
the way john deacon is such a legend and i don't get how people don't really acknowledge that more???
like, my man wrote fire songs, could play more instruments than i have books in my apartment (i am a very avid reader) and also just couldn't be bothered™? he's never even close to giving a fuck, he tagged along with queen because he thought it would be fun and didn't expect them to blow up, he's actually freaky and had no qualms sharing that publicly on more than one occasion, finished his degree with basically standing ovations while playing for queen, fucked right off the face of the earth whenever he felt like it, had vibes going during every single queen concert (having the time of his life, dancing queen) in his own little universe.
love for john richard deacon, born on august 19th, 1951 cause he's THE icon and legend and moment 💕❤️

Hey, whoever made the video for The Night Comes Down…stop with the AI. No one likes it. It’s theft and it’s terrible for the environment. FANS DO NOT WANT THAT. READ THAT AGAIN. It is THEFT. I know y’all worked hard to make this album great, don’t ruin it right now
