I said on Twitter I'd ship Flash with everyone.. someone challenged me, and this happened. Donut test me.........
Another art from the backlog! I'm close to having not much else left for the year besides my Drawtober stuff, oh boy... ^^;
Anyways, this is a random idea I had for a while: gummy worm dragons! With a bunch of different variants. Not sure if I'll really use this "species" for anything though. Still, figured I could share it since I'm sure a few other people would love an idea like this!
And of course, feel free to just draw your own gummy worm dragons too if you want! It's not like it's specific enough to be like... one of those adoptable closed species or something. At least, I don't think so?
If you're the type who likes to have design rules for this kind of thing, just two suggestions:
Limit of two to three colors, including eye colors. Mainly just because actual gummy worms usually come in two colors on one worm, sometimes three.
No sharp edges! It's gotta be all soft and Gummy, yeah?
Otherwise go wild with the horns/wings/legs. Heck, if you have a dragon or dragon-like OC, maybe try out making a gummy worm dragon version of them or something, lol. And otherwise you can just ignore this and make your own version of a gummy worm dragon! Go forth and be creative!! \o/
Hey you know what sucks is predatory companies that make you enter your email address so that they can harass and advertise to you to access resources you might need to keep track of expenses after a disaster. So, uh, fuck them.
If you need to track the cost of things like hotel stays, pet kenneling, medical care, etc. after a disaster you can use this worksheet.
If you need to create an inventory of your home for an insurance claim (and if you'd like to do this to keep someplace safe before a disaster) you can use this worksheet (two pages, instructions on the first page, worksheet on the second).
And here's a FEMA document with numbers for disaster relief groups and a checklist of documents that you may need to have replaced as well as a description of what to do if you had cash in your home that was destroyed and can possibly be replaced.
i cannot keep quiet about this anymore.
if you're in the US or Canada and interested in learning a language using a free app please get a library card and download MANGO. it's very good and extremely free with a library card (there are many public libraries and universities using the service, so make an account and use the search feature here to find out if there's one near you).
mango currently has 72 available languages and dialects (that's right! different courses for french or canadian french! spanish or latam spanish!). it's set up basically like an audiobook with text. the idea is that the narrator explains the words while you read, and you repeat after them or say the translation out loud when prompted. there's a daily review where you go through flashcards. you can also use the flashcards at your leisure and create your own. at the end of each chapter there's a listening comprehension quiz and a reading comprehension quiz. i cannot emphasize how effective this all is. and it's free with a card.
if you're not in the US or Canada and/or looking for something more like duolingo (don't use duolingo btw tldr they fired translators and replaced them with "ai"), then try BUSUU! it only has 14 languages atm but the lessons are really descriptive and effective. it also has a feature where you can correct other people's open-ended speaking/typing exercises. you set your fluent languages, and exercises by people learning those languages will appear in your feed for you to correct. you can even add others as friends! and, much like duolingo, it has a streak and leaderboard system for you to strive for, minus the guilt-tripping owl.
busuu is free (you watch ads to unlock lessons and they're all skippable after like five seconds), although it also has paid premium/plus versions (i don't use the paid version—the language courses are available for free, and the ad system is Really unobtrusive).
so that's my wisdom for the day. mango and busuu. please check them out :)
Hey! Same person from Bulkhead and Breakdown exes ask! Your drawing reminded of a really good fic called Break it Down, where Breakdown becomes friends with June after they bond over both being nurses. I think you'd like it!
Here's a link.

It took me a while to answer but I want to tell you- this fic is so SWEET. Got me kicking my legs like a highschool girl 😂 I love June and the section where she taught Miko about the war, and Miko apologizing to them all 🥺oaaagggh, my heart
I'm currently at chapter 36, and I'm pleasantly surprised to learn about BD's gestalt (since idk anything about them)
So thank you for sharing!
