Last D2 comic of the year, just had to squeeze this one in because the fynch dawning lore was way too fricking cute (also for the sake of this comic let’s just assume the cookies are individual cookies and they’re not tins of cookies)

💙Soft!Dabi whose convinced your hands are made of magic. The man melts when you touch him and it doesn't even have to be sexual. Just your skin on his, no matter when or why, sets him ablaze in a whole new way.

💙Soft!Dabi who lays his head in your lap when it's just the two of you and it's been a hard day. He loves the way you thread your fingers through his hair and massage his scalp soothingly as he vents. You never dismiss his worries or concerns, just listen, talk to him and comfort him as no one else would or could and he appreciates you so much for it.

💙Soft!Dabi who doesn't bother to hide the barely audible whines that escape him as you tend to his sore muscles after a fight. He doesn't even have to ask, never has. You just seemed to know what he needed and it's become a ritual. Soon enough, those magic hands of yours are rubbing away the worries of the day, week, fuck, maybe even the month. He returns the favor too, of course, but he doubts he's quite as amazing as he believes you are.

💙Soft!Dabi who can't sleep if you aren't right next to him. Whether it be cuddled up against his chest with your head tucked under his chin or the little spoon, your back flush against his chest as he holds you close. As long as you're there, pressed up against him, he's happy and able to sleep peacefully.

💙Soft!Dabi who almost cries the first time you cook him something homemade. It's a simple meal, but it's the best thing he's eaten in months and you've cooked it just for him. Dabi never understood the saying 'The way to a man's heart is through his stomach' until now, with a full belly a single drop of red running down his cheek.

💙Soft!Dabi who acts offended when you catch him attempting to not so discreetly steal kitty food from local pet stores. After some prodding, it turns out he uses it to feed the strays that hang out by the back of the hideout. He claims it's to stop the meowing and begging, but you know better. The way his lips quirk slightly upwards when he sees them eating, the names he's given them all and the way they react when they see him? It all gives him away and your heart swells, because you know how truly caring he is deep down and how lucky you are to see this side of him.

💙Soft!Dabi who isn't a virgin when you finally have sex, but makes love for the very first time with you. Rather than quick and straight to the point, like he'd always been in the past, he's tender and attentive with you. He takes time to run his hands over every inch of your body, appreciating every curve, dimple, birthmark, scar etc. He loves every bit of you and makes sure you know it.

💙Soft!Dabi whose enters you slowly, making sure not to hurt you and allowing you the time to feel every bit of him before moving. His thrusts are slower and more passionate, hitting just the right spots, over and over again. He wants more than anything to show you how much you mean to him, in every way possible. Judging by the way he has you sobbing his name, he feels like he's succeeded.

💙Soft!Dabi who tends to your wounds when you get hurt in a fight. He acts angry that you'd gotten injured, showing nothing but frustration on the outside, but the way his brow furrows and his lip quivers lets you know how concerned he truly is. Even more so, when he's done patching you up and simply presses his forehead against yours, quietly holding eye contact for a few moments before smiling reassuringly and pressing a tender kiss between your brows.

💙Soft!Dabi who holds your hand at every chance he gets. It starts with just pinky fingers laced together, but he'll soon maneuver his hand and start stroking his thumb across your palm in slow circles. Before you know it, his large, scarred and calloused hand is wrapped around yours fully, occasionally lifting it to his lips so he can place a butterfly kiss on your knuckles and send you a cheeky smile.

💙Soft!Dabi who never would've considered himself 'soft' until he met you and got to feel what it was to love and to be be loved so wholeheartedly. Loved without any expectations or reservations. You didn't ask for him to change, you accepted him for how he was, past, present, future plans, scars, demons, all of it. He didn't mind being soft for that, for you... only you.
