It's crazy how ubiquitous Unity was in the indie scene until a year ago. They really pissed away all that goodwill over a profit margin that was never going to happen. I mean fuck, back when I studied game design, Unity was basically all they taught in those classes. They had it made, man. All they had to do was sit back and keep the boat steady.
