as cliché and superficial as this phrase may seem at times, "you need to have self-love before loving someone" fits very well with what is happening to q!cellbit and q!roier. and there is something that they need to do as quick as possible: talk. they need to talk. they love each other and that is undeniable and unquestionable, but they do not have self-love. what happens when you hate yourself to the point of thinking that your existence is a curse? what happens when you think it's better to push people away because they deserve better than what you have to offer? both q!cellbit and q!roier never had any problems accepting their differences, disagreeing, being themselves and always welcoming and supporting each other. their relationship is where they know they are safe, a marriage built on trust and purely genuine love, they are home to each other but to themselves they are lost. they don't find peace, forgiveness, comfort anywhere within themselves, the worst thing there is, is for them to live being who they are. to be able to see the actions and thoughts of q!roier and q!cellbit is often to realize that they can never escape what they hate most, themselves, their own existence. that's really painful to watch but very real too unfortunately, after all, both characters are full of unresolved traumas and they continue to go through traumatic situations. so i just really hope that they can have a deep calm conversation, where they both make it clear how they feel, and honestly?! i trust my cubitos, i believe that communication will win once again.
