My wife’s first act after the ceasefire agreement is announced will be to walk through the streets, crying.
Layan’s first act will be to visit her school, my cousin’s grave, and my uncle’s grave.
Sarah wants to stay out in the street until midnight, without fear.
Adam wants 100 shekels to buy many things and toys and to visit the beach.
And all of them want to go on a long drive in the car.
As for me, I just want to cry and sleep for a long time.
To cry for dozens of loved ones, and to sleep for the first time without fear—because we are truly exhausted.

Now, we are hearing good news about the imminent announcement of a ceasefire in Gaza, as well as the entry of proper caravans for living instead of tents and our destroyed homes. There’s also news about more substantial aid being delivered and heavy machinery arriving to rebuild roads and restore life.
Additionally, there are preparations underway to hand over the Rafah border crossing with Egypt under European supervision. We hope this happens soon so that Layan, Sarah, and Adam can return to school and education after traveling.

I am Hazem Shawish, and I am trying to save my family from this war.
We live in Gaza, where we face significant challenges due to the current situation.
My family consists of 11 members, including my mother, two daughters, four sons, and three children.
In the shadow of conflict, our family has faced unimaginable hardships. The passing of my father, a victim to the cruel grasp of hunger and inadequate healthcare, left a void in our lives, underscoring the fragility of our existence here. My brother, Samer, battles bipolar disorder, a condition exacerbated by the ongoing war and the severe shortage of essential medications. Without access to the necessary treatment, his life is at risk, and we live in constant fear for his well-being amidst the chaos that surrounds us. These personal tragedies have deepened the urgency of our situation.
Every day is a struggle for survival, and each night is filled with prayers for a brighter tomorrow. We hold onto hope, believing that one day the clouds will dissipate, and we will find the peace we long for.
Our home, which was a sanctuary for us, was destroyed, forcing us to live in a state of uncertainty and fear. We have lost the laughter of our children.

We also face psychological challenges, as we have lost our father, and my brother Samer, who needs expensive medical treatment, is facing imminent danger. My mother, who has endured so much, fears losing another child. We are all suffering from malnutrition and contaminated water.
We dream of moving to Egypt to find safety, where our children can pursue their education.
We seek your support as individuals who understand the value of compassion and community.

I am Musab Ahmed. I once had a home, I once had a life… but now, everything I knew is nothing but rubble. My house was completely destroyed by the relentless bombing that took away even our memories.
My body did not escape this war—I was injured in my shoulder, underwent surgery, but I still need another operation to regain my full mobility. Yet, the greatest pain is not mine… it’s the pain of my daughter Lama, whose little hand could not withstand the bombing. She was injured and had to have a metal plate implanted in her hand, and we are still struggling to get her the treatment she needs.
All we ask for is a chance to live… A life that was stolen from us under the bombs and destruction. We need your support to continue our treatment and to try and rebuild what’s left of us.

“My wife and I live in northern Gaza, trying to hold on, but the pain is more than we can bear. We lost our first child to hunger and cold… ❄️ He passed away in our arms while we were helpless to save him. 💔 We held his tiny, cold body as our hearts shattered at the loss. How hard it is for a father to watch his child leave hungry, and how cruel it is for a mother to see her child die in her arms without being able to give him anything.
And now, we are living the same nightmare with our other children. Hunger is devouring them, cold is killing them, and we are powerless to protect them. 💔 We cried out for help, pleaded with you many times, but no one hears us… Our voices are lost in the silence of the world.
We are a father and mother who lost their child due to neglect and silence, and we fear we may lose the rest. 😢 We live between life and death, in darkness with no glimpse of hope. To anyone who hears this cry… Please, do not leave us alone. Save us before it’s too late. 🙏”

My name is Inas Imad, from Gaza, and I am 30 year old wife and first time expecting mother living in the most unimaginable and dire circumstances for over a year now. Three years ago I married my best friend and have struggled trying to start a family. Even after this war began, my husband and I did not lose hope in starting our family and we continued in determination to live and to bring new life into this world. I am now currently pregnant with our first child, however due to the consequences of this war, I am faced with a high risk, dangerous pregnancy according to the doctor and I am very afraid that if I do not get get adequate nutrition, the medications, and supplies that I need, I will lose my child. The doctor has ordered medication to be given by injection throughout my pregnancy to help me carry my baby to term, however I do not have the money to purchase the medication and syringes needed, nor do we have the money to purchase adequate nutrition. Life here in Gaza is very difficult and we become more hopeless by the day. My husband and I had just started to build our lives together. We had a nice home where we had planned to start our family, and now we are subjected to living in a tent where there is no bathroom and we spend our nights just trying to get warm. It has been difficult being pregnant and not having a bathroom or even a bed to sleep on, but I want my child more than anything. The only hope we have left is in our baby and I am asking you to stand with us. Please, help us in any way you can to save our child. We feel very alone and abandoned, but we are determined to live and we want to see our child be one of the miracles that comes out of Gaza. Any amount you can donate, no matter how small, means the world to us. We will never forget you standing with us. Please, help me to evacuate from Gaza so that I can see my dream of being a mother and bringing my beautiful baby into this world to make it a better place and helping my husband and I be able to watch our child grow up. swept everything away, leaving us without a roof or cover to protect us from the harsh winter.
My child and my family are now facing the bitter cold without bedding or blankets, and we are unable to provide even the basics for a decent life.
Our urgent needs and how to use the requested amount (5000 euros):
1. Two tents: 2000 euros
- One tent for each family, strong and weather-resistant, to provide shelter and protect my children from the bitter cold.
2. Simple bathroom: 1000 euros
- To meet our basic needs and restore some of our dignity.

- To provide warmth to our children and the elderly during the harsh winter nights.
