Holy shit, i was NOT expecting this approach from Elgar'nan... This is way more interesting than him just being a big bad with no charisma, which is more in line with what I anticipated.
He tries to tempt Rook so well, with personal appeal... And then over and over he insists that Rook would be better off as his "honoured disciple" instead of "the Dread Wolf's pawn." I had CHILLS.
