Hope ur not scared of clowns x
Hello everyone! This fandom has come together multiple times before to help raise money for various worthy causes. I am hoping we can do so once again to raise money for Turkey.
Here are three causes specifically pointed out by @prettyboybillyhargrove who is from Turkey and can vouch that these charities are legit:
Disaster Tents Donations
Search and Rescue Association
Isbank of Turkey (I'm so sorry, I used Google translate for this because the site is in Turkish)
Similar to Harringrove for Ukraine, I am not setting time limits on anyone. I know I am super busy right now, but still want to help. So if you, creators, think you'll have time in the next few months- maybe consider joining and negotiating with your donor about a timeframe!
To donate in exchange for content:
I will be reblogging this post at 4:30PM EST on Wednesday, February 15th with all the creators who have signed up. Please check back on this post to find the full list!
Send a donation to one of the organizations linked above and take a screenshot!
Reach out to the content creator you would like to commission for this and work out a deadline expectation and what you will be receiving in exchange for your donation. We are working under a time constraint, please please be patient with your creator!
To create content for donations:
Send me a message to let me know! You can send it here or Discord, greysides#2310. I will add you to my reblog. Please get it to me before 4:30PM EST on Wednesday, February 15th!
Create a post detailing what you are offering! I do not have a specific template, but I recommend 100 words/$1 for writers. Please set your rates yourself, there is no need to overextend yourself! I will be making my own post about this, so feel free to take a look at that and work within my personal suggestions! (Also set a limit/ set one after you reach a comfortable number of donations for yourself!)
Negotiate with your donor about when you will get started on the piece/ how long you anticipate it to take. I hope we can all grant each other some patience and people will be willing to do something in a couple of weeks if given time.
As soon as you, the creator, have that screenshot please send it to me!
Get working on the creation! I can set up an AO3 collection for all completed works as well.
This is just beautiful and it reminded me so much of Qinni art.
Her legacy lives on in the hearts of everyone she has touched and I'm crying omg.

This is the only Summer Mungrove I could manage to get out before the due date.
Normally I don't make any posts like this, but I have an interest in cybersecurity and sadly I've seen people are being really ignorant about this recent DDoS attack against the site AO3 (Archive of Our Own), so I thought I'd remind people of a few things:
Anonymous Sudan appears to have no actual link to Sudan at all, or to any previous hacktivist groups that once operated there. This masquerade is probably based in anti-immigration and other racist sentiments, and utilizing those sentiments in other people to scare people and set up Muslims and Sudanese people as a target. This should be obvious from the language used in their note, but this was already known prior to this particular attack.
This so-called Anonymous Sudan has actually been very active recently—remember that they claimed to attack Reddit, Flickr, Riot Games, a huge number of Microsoft web portals like OneDrive and Outlook, etc. before AO3, so AO3 was totally a logical target for them since they've gone after smaller entities before. DDoS attacks like this are easy for any script kiddie to set up, so it's not weird that they'd go for a smaller target like this.
Honestly this group of posers probably just wants money, everybody. They sent AO3 a ransom note asking for Bitcoin (and just in case people don't know, do not pay a ransom if at all possible if this ever happens to you).
My advice to people who've noticed this attack is two-fold: calm down since this is part of a larger pattern that has literally resulted in basically no loss for the end-user of any of the sites, and... I don't really know a better way to put this, but don't believe everything you read. A religiously-motivated hate group wouldn't use terms like "LGBTQ+" and "smuts," and it's so blatantly obvious that the timing of every single one of these attacks is being used to smear Muslims and Sudanese people if you think about current events for like. One second. And if you look up Anonymous Sudan, you'll see their string of attacks and how all experts know that they have nothing to do with Sudan at all. Even AO3 itself told everybody that the group is lying about their motivations... though I think I'd go further than that personally because even their name itself is almost certainly a total sham.
To be clear: this post isn't targeted at anyone in particular. I've just seen a lot of people falling for this overall or not realizing this is part of a pattern, and I also wanted to remind everyone that this isn't anything to be concerned about. What is something to be concerned about is not doing research or thinking critically and then unwittingly spreading racist ideas.

Eddie’s tattoos~ the artists did an awesome job with these! I really appreciate small details like these; most aren’t ever fully visible in show, but they add a lot of character depth. Originals were posted on Amy L Forsythe’s instagram account, I just sketched the little placement maps.
The rings on his left were easy to find via Google. Those models have been made and sold for a long time and this style is still popular in metal and biker aesthetics. The ring on his right hand is more obscure; I was able to find a handful of lookalikes, but not with the same stone, or more inlaid stone work…? If anyone else digs deeper and finds out more about it, leave me info and I’ll edit the post 🙂 But as it is, simple observance and good close up shots make great refs.
The button style pins on the jacket are easy to find, plenty of independent artists remake these on Etsy if you can’t find officially licensed ones. W.A.S.P. ‘s metal pin may only be available/easier to find through officially licensed sellers, just ‘cause ya know, metal pins are a little harder to make than button pins. But! All bands are still currently active, so that also makes things easier for those looking to actually buy 🙂
These pages may seem a little redundant, but I wanted to include actual shots for placement notes and good clear individual shots of the patches for drawing reference ; a lot of the scenes are dark, people are moving around, etc. and a few of the patches are on the sides of the jacket, they’re not fully visible a majority of the time anyway. Most of these can be found pretty quickly and easily on the internet, like the pins. Even the Dio shirt should still be easy enough to obtain for a cosplayer, although a special vintage shirt was donated to the team for wardrobe. Iron Maiden and Megadeth are still active, Dio and Motörhead are not, though.
So, here we have a nice little collective post! Hope this helps some other artists/cosplayers/fans and saves you some time digging on your own. This was a lot of fun to do!
