If you’re a stranger things blog who doesn’t put up with casual antisemitism in your space and just like generally supports Jewish people in your space and aren’t a billy anti can you please reblog this or comment or something because dealing with this fandoms concerningly high amount of casual antisemitism, holocaust denialism, people joking about being Nazis, people using the k slur and sending vile asks to Jewish blogs is really getting to me rn and I just want to know that SOME people support my presence as a Jew in this fandom at least.

I apologise for a possible lack of coherency on this post, it’s 1AM in the UK but I felt like this was an issue that people needed to be made aware of

There is an Instagram account called billy._hargrove_ and they are stealing peoples art. @adelacreations has helped me with identifying a few of the artists who I will be doing my best to get in contact with to make aware of this situation but I also felt that making a post would also help bring attention to this issue.

I don’t know if this person has a tumblr but if you’re a Billy/harringrove/harringroveson artist who has an Instagram account I strongly recommend blocking them on there if Instagram is also somewhere where you post your art.

If fandom folks could reblog this post so as many people in this fandom are made aware of this issue as possible, that would be fantastic.

Start Over; A Harringrove post-s3 fan comic following Billy Hargrove, who the universe is apparently not done with yet, despite what the season 3 finale says.

I’ve spent the better part of the last week and a half working on this cover and the first six pages, which was maybe a bit dumb of me? But I’ve gotten really into Harringrove so here we are.

just some silliness on my part; I make up my own little this and that's as I draw normally - some which goes completely unnoticed because of how I draw, some which shows - and I like keeping it all collected + I always enjoy seeing what others roll with, so maybe someone will enjoy this too.

MERLIN notes: - I like to always keep his hair visibly curly, much like Colin's own hair is. I also prefer drawing it with some length; nothing crazy, just not the short-short stuff although I love how it looks in the show. - he's supposed to be a bit pale so I've landed in a cooler palette (hopefully) without making him look sickly or as if he's never seen the sun. - ARTISTIC CHOICE the outer lines of his eyes have golden specks/dots/pattern. nothing that would strike as suspicious as there's multiple people with yellow/light brown/golden patterns in their eyes. this is to play off that he's made of magic. these parts reacts by "sparkling" (I don't posses a better word for it) when hit by harsh light or as he experience strong emotions. - I loved how large his ears appeared especially in earlier seasons, so sorry but under my pen he'll never grow into them. same goes for his high cheekbones; in the series you can tell he's softening up in the face/doesn't look like a skinny fresh-outa-puberty kid no more, but I like the shape it gives with some hollowness.

ARTHUR notes: - his hair is also kept on the longer side, especially by the neck. his fringe tend to touch his eyebrows when I draw, or at least ain't far away haha. eyebrows are also fairy light. - I like the little fandom-agreement that he's tan from hours in the sun, so his palette is warmer; also adds a nice contrast to Merlin stylistically. with this in mind would he 100% have some sick tan-lines. - ARTISTIC CHOICE Uther's actor has (sectoral) heterochromia so bet I'll add that to any art of Arthur hereby where his eyes shows. a nice little family-thing which I would believe made him feel empowered as a child - a clear indicator to being is fathers son even at the worst of times. in later years, while having to try and fill his fathers shoes and try and right his wrongs all at the same time, I think it would feel more like a prison and taunt. - ARTISTIC CHOICE freckles under the eyes. a little dormant during winters and dark days but very much there during summers. the smaller kind though, and easy to miss unless you get close.
