walking kettle boy GO!!!! [bullies him bullies him bullies him bullies him bullies him bullies him-]
Bestie what đđ
i'd joke about making tea over michael's burning wings but drinking anything warm except hot chocolate makes my skeleton leave my body
wdym hot chocolate is awesome đ
Amazing!! Hit me right in the feels.
Never thought I'd have something new to post on this account again, but... here we go!
And poor Michael đ this portrayal is honestly even more brutal than I originally envisioned. I always imagined him still able to speak, though his voice warped.
Though, applying that here may paint an even bleaker picture than the current implication. That it's not that he can't speak, but that he's too ashamed to, and that is the reason for his silence. Either way, this is chilling. My poor baby.
Also love the detail about cold damaging eyesight!! Didn't even consider that.
A/N: I finally got the motivation (and time) to finish a Michael and Lucifer angst minific i begun in [checks calendar] march. :). This piece takes place in the armageddon AU timeline. While i do reccomend you go read the source material to understand this fully, here's a 'quick' summary:
The Demon King and Father never step away from leadership, and the exchange program is never created. Tension between the realms keep rising, and eventually spill over, which results in a war.
In an effort to prevent invasion, the Celestial Realm and Devildom become nigh inhospitable. The Celestial Realm becomes blindingly bright, even at night. Heat from the light results in burns, scorched feathers (loss of flight), and vision loss. The Devildom is clouded by a light-consuming mist. It becomes too dark and too cold to grow any kind of tree, crop or flower. Demons try to cope with famine through canibalism, all while dealing with wide-spread hypothermia* and madness. Sometime during this period, Michael's form is warped beyond recognition in an attempt to make the perfect demon killing machine.
Many angels and demons lose faith in the ambition of their sovereign, and thus create rebellion groups, which eventually fuse into one. Both Father and the Demon King are overthrown. The war is over, but the realms are still far from peace. Infighing in the Coaliton begins. The minific takes place at this point in the timeline. Two ideologies arise from the sea of arguments and discussions; Cohabitionism - belief that the CR and DD are far too damaged, and that angels and demons should permamently reside in the human world (as they have for a while already, many chose to flee to the Human World) Reformism - demons and angels miss their homes, humans want them out of theirs, so a plan of re-establishing CR and DD under new, proggresive leaders hangs in the air.
Reformism died out due to failed attempts to re-ihabit the other realms.
An institution called the World Council is established, angels, demons, and humans all inhabit the Human World.
For the first time in forever, the future that awaits everyone is a bright and happy one.

You stand atop scorched ground covered by blood and ash. You and your brothers are here to participate in one of the many meetings discussing the future of the realms and their surviving citizens. There are many people you know here- Solomon, Thirteen, Diavolo, the surviving members of the Devildom House of Lords and the seraphim, a couple of other angels (including Simeon), and also a few high ranking Sorcerersâ Society members, guessing by their uniforms.
Although, this time there is a very peculiar⊠person? Amongst the Celestial Realm representatives that you donât recognize. You also notice Michael isnât in attendance again, but itâs no wonder he isnât after what happened to him.
âŠ
The mysterious angel bothers you. Well, itâs not doing anything to you, you just find it unsettlingly familiar - but youâve never seen anything quite like it. The creatureâs head, ankles, and four wrists are circled by golden bands littered with eyes. There are even more eyes on its wings, but youâre not sure how useful they are, given that said wings are on fire. Its eyes are frantic - looking, observing, but never quite locking eyes onto anything or anyone. Such features are only reserved for an angelâs higher form, but seeing how it was let into the conference like this, it mustn't be able to turn back.Â
That was a person, once - or maybe it never was. Maybe it was created specifically to be a killing machine, without a choice and no mouth to voice its complaints.(Maybe its literal facelessness is meant to signify its lack of identity?). Is this really your father's doing? In pursuit of eradicating demon kind, did he truly go as far as to do this to one of his own children  your kin, once? Is this really what he wants? To create an inhabitable world for children malformed, dead, and broken? Is that how he shows 'love'?Â
âŠ
Staying in the Devildomâs frozen wasteland for so long clearly didnât do wonders for your eyesight.*
The golden flames of its wings blinded you from noticing the most important detail about the angel. Beautiful, knee-length hair that shines like the purest gold. You know who this hair belongs to- you ruffled it a lot when you were still your Fatherâs favourite.
(How could you not have recognised him? You grew up with him. Did all that time you spent together mean nothing to you?)
This isn't just an angel- this is the angel who entrusted Mammon into your care, the one who commissioned the construction of the first ever planetarium in the celestial realm, the one you got a leg up on by going to it before he could, the one you playfully shoved your responsibilities onto when he did the same to you, the very same one you once co-ruled the celestial realm with, this- this is-
Michael is attending the meeting, after all.
The realisation is horrifying. Father did this. He did this to his most loyal and faithful soldier. His current favourite. His own child. If you hadnât rebelled, if you hadnât torn out your wings in anger, hadnât lost your sister- would he have done the same to you?
A distant shout brings you back - the debate is getting heated. You watch as a member of the now nonexistent devildom nobility hollers profanities at an ophanim - Ribkiel, if memory serves you right. The angel can barely wait for the noble to finish before they slam their fists on the table and yell something back. Their pointless squabble incites many others to join in. A few people try to calm the screaming match, though, with Simeon included among them. This isnât all that surprising -Â the last meeting was just as disorderly as this one too. You canât help but sigh. Something tears your attention again, but this time, away from the ongoing scuffle. Thereâs a dainty and delicate hand squeezing your arm. Despite your deteriorated eyesight, you can see the scarring on them - and something quite unheard of in such times - nail polish. Things have been peaceful enough recently for Asmodeus to paint his nails his signature blue and pink. Good. Though, the frown on Asmoâs face isnât. Heâs probably worried that youâre zoning out so much. You shake your head and he slides his hands away from you. You donât notice him shooting you another concerned look as your eyes return to boring into Michael.
This time, he looks at you, too. His brilliant blue eyes gaze deep into your own. Maybe itâs just your imagination, but you swear there was a flash of pain and longing in them.
*- Extreme cold can damage your eyesight, and even lead to blindness. Though this isn't mentioned as something plauging the survivors from the Devildom in the AU.
Oh my god people still read here?
Despite having not made an official appearance in canon yet, Michael has quite the role in this AU. I dare say his story in this AU is one of the most disturbing and tragic.
Michael suffers from power sickness, but his struggles donât end there.
Michael is the most powerful Archangel and leader of the Celestial Realmâs legions, making him Fatherâs most powerful weapon of war. However, as we have seen thus far, the Celestial Realm isnât satisfied with the power it has and is seeking more. As such, Michael wasnât enough. He needed to be improved. Upgraded.
In his attempts to turn Michael into the perfect supersoldier, Father created an abomination. Michaelâs form was warped into what could be compared to the most terrifying of the biblical angels. Two golden rings of eyes circled around his head, replacing the now nonexistent eyes on his completely smoothed-over face. More eyes peered out from between the feathers of his four wings, wings that were now permanently set ablaze. Smaller golden rings of eyes encircled his hands and ankles like shackles, and he has four arms instead of two. There are also disembodied eyes floating all around him, which he can move at will, using them almost like camera drones. Despite his mouth being smoothed over with skin like the rest of his face, Michael can still somehow speak, in an echoey and ethereal voice that brings chills to those who listen, a feeling that they are hearing something they shouldnât. But no, Michael canât eat, which as you could imagine is absolutely devastating to someone like him.

I have a question. How has Beel been doing? probably horrible, I'd imagine. but.. the food problem. how would he be handling it? would he resort cannabalism? or...?
...good question. I never entirely figured that out. I toyed with a few things, but never found something I really liked.
A while ago, someone brought up the idea of Beel taking a bite out of Belphie, and there being a big bite mark on Belphie reminding Beel of what he did. I do like that idea.
I also toyed with the possibility of the brothers sealing Beelzebub in some kind of artifact or pocket-dimension to keep him from eating them. I have mixed feelings on this one. On one hand, it probably makes the most sense because we all know Beel would be incredibly dangerous otherwise, but something just doesn't feel right.
There's also the possibility of Beel turning his hunger on anyone who threatens the brothers. The brothers would face many threats from all parties during the war, and Beel would have no problem munching down a few of them. He may get his sustenance from their enemies on the battlefield.
Honestly, I'd love to hear other opinions on this.
Just letting you guys know this blog is always open for asks. Iâm bored over here and need content inspoÂ
Art of Armageddon AU!Satan by the very talented @luyo-miâ!
WOOOOO another cool dark OM AU!!!
This is what I can come up with so far with the Au rn lol @12am-motivation
//I'll start with the infection. Think of it like The Flare virus from the maze runners except with demons :D This whole au is like a survival type basically except with modern tech, given the whole techwear designs.
// Lower level demons don't have the same kind of immunity that the higher demons have, so they fully transform into these savage monsters faster. They can still use magic but don't have control over it. The lower demons who have wings can fly too. They're sensitive to light so when it becomes night that's when become more active.
//Even though they have a so-called immunity to the infection , higher demons who get infected are still eventually gonna end up like the lower levels, it's just a much slower process, that's why sometimes, in the heat of the moment, they lose control.
//Lucifer was the first to get infected while protecting Belphie. He lost control a total of 3 times due to being stressed.
//Barbatos was the second to get infected while trying to protect his special person. He's lost control once on the day he got infected
Now Ima go into the roles each character has rn
//The characters are part of a group, literally like the student council, expect idk what to name this one
// Diavolo is obviously the Commander/Leader. He's in charge of all the rules, Assigns mission to who he see fit, all that jazz.
//Barbatos is Diavolo's personal guard but also like If anything were to happen to the leader, Barbatos is the one to be put in charge next.
//Lucifer is the Enforcer of the group, idk if i'm using that right. He's the one to keep everyone in check, mainly his brothers.
For the brothers Ima sections them off instead of giving them descriptions bc I'm rad like that
Survivalist// Mammon, Satan
Lookout// Beel, Levi, Lucifer
Guard// Beel, Mammon, Lucifer
Marksmen// Levi, Belphie
Hunts/Scouts// Asmo, Belphie, Satan, Mammon, Levi
Mammon is in charge of Beel and Satan, while Levi is in charge of belphie and Asmo.
Mammon and Levi tend to venture out together to find any signs of survivors or to map out any new areas. That's how they stumbled upon Barbs.
Satan sometimes joins them as well to learn more about the virus and to maybe come up with a "cure" for Lucifer and Barbatos, though he wont admit it.
Levi, Mammon, and Beel were all out on a mission to gather some more supplies when they encountered their first Infected High ranking demon. ((these guys are a lot stronger and actually have more control over their actions unlike the lower levels)) Levi and Beel only came out unscathed because Mammon bought them time, though at the cost of his arm
That's why Levi took it upon himself to build him a Prosthetic Arm
Despite knowing the dangers, Belphie tends to sneak out during the night to go star gazing, Mammon sometimes follows him to make sure he comes back home safely. Though this would eventually be the reason how Lucifer got infected as he went off to get Belphie back home.
Belphie hates himself for that but only Beel knows.
Asmo is the one who tends to the brothers injuries// scratches, cuts, burns, etc. He taught himself after seeing how dire the situation actually is once lucifer got infected and mammon lost his arm. He says he hates getting messy when out scouting but his smile after killing something says other wise
And thats all I can come up with for now :D
@vera-deville oooh thank you for the tag!
Last song: Funny this is mentioned because Iâm listening to music rn lol. Jyc Rowâs âNerath, Goddess of Nightmaresâ. If it seems familiar, itâs because itâs part of the series that inspired me to create the Armageddon AU, Infinite Eclipse!
Last Show: The Mentalist! Iâm super into it rn.
Currently Watching/Listening to: Again The Mentalist lol. Also Infinite Eclipse, again.
Current Obsession:Â in Obey Me hell as always lolÂ
Iâm also writing an original fantasy novel that has been taking up a liiiiiittle too much of my brain space lately.
Tagged by @bdeblueyes sorry Iâm getting to this so late, I was focused on work and drawing!
Last Song: Not counting the soundtrack to the movie Iâm watching, the last song I listened to on Spotify was âSnow Fairyâ (the first opening theme to Fairy Tail). The one before that has been stuck in my head though. Itâs this song from âgivenâ that I donât know the translation for.
Last TV Show: given. And I cried just as much as I did the first time I watched it
Currently watching/listening to: Aladdin. Itâs a familiar movie that I can easily fall asleep to, and itâs also sentimental
Currently reading: I also am reading a lot of fics, but I am also reading a lot of webtoons, and Dracula.
Current obsession: Yes. Take your pic from any one of my hyperfixations. In a very broad scope, though, bl anime. The stories are just so good and the boys are so pretty to draw.

believe it or not this AU is actually really tame compared to what inspired me to make it
So I've been reading some of @obeymearmageddonau 's Armageddon Au and decided to write a drabble for it
But first let's make some Characters for it
-There will be several OCs present in this
Arc(Archie)- He can be considered the 'MC' of his area.
He is one a several newly discovered hybrids (Human, Angel, Demon in that order of what genes are more dominant)
Like most hybrids in this and any future drabbles he has health problems originating from the conflicting DNA
Unlike the MC in the game the connection to the three realms doesn't have any effect on any of the realms but is instead destroying him from the inside out
He has access to a pair of wings and horns with a tail
These are considered his angel and human forms
He is the vice leader of a survivor group
Arch(Archelle)-Can also be considered the MC
She is Arc's older sister and the second hybrid known to their survivor group
Unlike her brother the Demon genes have fully suppressed her angel genes leaving her healthier in most aspects but with the drawback of having violent seizures and internal bleeding when coming into prolonged contact with angels
She has horns, wings, a tail, and darkened skin along her forearms similar to elbow length gloves
She is the leader of their survivor group
Angel-A side character of this story
The youngest sister and adopted cousin of Arc and Arch
While she is high school aged for most of this she is physically a child due to her demonic genes suppressing her human genes
Even though her demon side is dominant she has an incredibly weak angel (but still stronger that human) form
For her safety her other forms were sealed away the second her siblings found a way
This has a negative impact on her health but is still safer than Arc's situation
I am trying very hard to cut this. Sorry for the length
I feel like in this AU Michael and Luke would have a very Frozen Anna-and-Elsa relationship. Like, I listen to âThe First Time In Forever (Reprise)â and âI Canât Lose Youâ and think of a naive Luke, feeling abandoned by his role model, banging on the door of Michaelâs bunker begging to be let in, while Michael shuts him out like he shut out everyone else and trying to tell Luke it isnât safe to be around him in his current form.
Like seriously.
Imagine this.
Black background with white text reading â âI gave you my sword, my heart and my faith."
fading to an image underneath, of Raphaelâs silhouette staring out into a destroyed Celestial Realm
âBut now the sky is burning, and I scream and wonder...â
Gahhhhh I have so many ideas in my head if only I had skill
Some day Iâd really like to get art of this AU captioned with matching âTogether, Against The Sistersâ lyricsÂ
Ok but Iâm even more interested in their parents. An angel and a demon getting together to create a family, in the middle of the centuries of building political turmoil from Lore I... đ
Also, when I was first reading this, I was thinking âoooh, they can join the Royal Alliance!â But then I saw that Archelle has seizures when around angels... yikes! Thatâs a pretty big barrier to work around!
So I've been reading some of @obeymearmageddonau 's Armageddon Au and decided to write a drabble for it

<------- (Lore VIII)-------«
Though the times after the war were harsh, they eventually settled down. Everyone on all sides was terrified of starting another war after what they had just been through, and most were too weak and weary to fight hard.Â
The Reformistsâ ideas began to fade out as shocking incidents arose. The demon Reformists were devastated as an expedition to the Devildom led by Reformist leader Mephistopheles turned for the worst, with only Mephistopheles and Belphegor returning alive. The angels began to question what had become of them after political leaders Simeon and Raphael got into a physical altercation over their beliefs that severely wounded Simeon. Eventually, the Reformists begrudgingly conceded to the Cohabitionalists. The humans agreed to house the angels and demons, as long as they pulled their weight and helped repair the damage they had done. Slowly, together, the races began to rebuild the Human World, from the ground up.
The world was rebuilt with all three races in mind- the angels, the demons, and of course, the humans. The angels and demonsâ magic came in handy for making effective use of space and resources, as well as bringing some aspects from the other two realms into the Human World. Celestial magic was used to create floating islands in the sky above the earth, which would become home to most of the angel refugees. Cave systems were expanded and modified to house the demons, who were used to living in low light. Though each race had their primary locations- the angels on the floating islands, the demons in the caves and the humans on the surface- they were all very much in contact with each other. It was certainly not unheard of for a human to live in the Celestial Isles, or a demon to live in a human city. There was much cultural diffusion between the three groups, mostly thanks to their comradery built up over the war as well as the consistent exchange of resources between the groups while they were rebuilding.
Michael officially announced his retirement soon after the arrangement to move to the Human World was settled. Everyone saw it coming- what had been done to Michael left him emotionally exhausted and mentally broken, and as such he had been unwilling to lead for quite some time. Even though Michael had been returned to normal physically, he still wasnât mentally ready to lead again. Raphael fully supported Michaelâs decision and ended up following suit, giving his endorsement to Simeon to lead the angels into a new era. The two of them now share a home in the Celestial Isles, relaxing peacefully and attempting to recover from what they had experienced. Simeon ended up being the main representative of the Celestial Realm in the World Council.Â
The World Council is a gathering of representatives from all three realms. Its goal is to oversee the rebuilding of the realm and cohabitation between the races, and make decisions to move these processes further along. Simeon is the head of the council and also one of the angel representatives. Diavolo and Lucifer are demon representatives on the council, and Solomon is one of the human representatives. Raphael would eventually return from his retirement to be a representative of the Celestial Realm, having realized that his usually-busy life felt empty without having work to do (and that living with Michael was driving him cuckoo and he needed some time out of the house.)
Under the council, great progress was made to bring the races together and rebuild what had been destroyed. For the first time in ages, a bright future was ahead.
Links in posts have been properly updated; I apologize for the delay.
Little status update, I only have one major post left to make. The next lore post coming out next Saturday will be the last of the lore, and I donât have any inspiration for more character files or fics at the moment. So, after this weekend, there will no longer be weekly long posts on the weekends.
Iâll still be here, posting little tidbits and thoughts and such about the AU and reblogging othersâ Armageddon AU content like I have been throughout the weekdays. So donât mourn; this AU isnât over or anything like that. Itâs just that the content Iâd planned has run its course.Â
<-------(Lore VII)-------«
After a long, tireless fight from the Equinox Coalition, both Father and the Demon King were overthrown. The six fallen angels fought alongside their angel comrades once more to bring Father down, and in turn for their liberation the angels fought alongside the demons to bring down the Demon King. All major Coalition members survived, but their struggles werenât over. Many questions still remained.
What would become of the Celestial Realm and the Devildom, which the two felled leaders had left ravaged in their wake? Where would the angels and demons go, if not to their homes? Who would command the angels in Fatherâs place, and the demons in the Demon Kingâs? How would each of the three realms be restored?
Most importantly, how could they even begin to recover from the horrific events that had nearly destroyed their world?
After the common enemy was taken out, the Coalition members began to argue amongst themselves. They stopped repressing their deep concerns and proclaimed themselves boldly in two categories: the Cohabitionalists, and the Reformists.
Many angels and demons missed their homelands, and wished to see them restored to their former glory. Many found the idea of coexisting among the other races to be humiliating and damaging to their culture. Many humans agreed with them, opposing the idea of housing angels and demons on their land. This group of angels, humans, and demons became known as the Reformists. They believed in reforming the Celestial Realm and the Devildom under new and more progressive leaders.
Demons who are a part of the Reformist school of thought usually nominate Lord Diavolo as their desired leader, while with angels itâs far more complicated. Many believed Michael to be the rightful ruler of a reformed Celestial Realm, but Michael has stepped away from nearly all of his responsibilities and showed no intention to regain leadership. In the fallout of the Armageddon, Michael no longer had the mental stability to lead, and readily admits and asserts this. Raphael is the logical second choice, but most angels strongly oppose his candidacy due to the oppressive and tyrannical tendencies he expressed as a military general in the war, as well as his poor track record even before the war. Simeon is a relatively well-liked option, though Simeon is expressedly a Cohabitationalist and many critics point out that Simeon is a rather low-ranking angel to be given this duty even if he wanted it.
A large number of humans supported the Reformist movement. They argued that the humans were having a hard enough time supporting themselves in the wreckage of their home, and that the angels and demons would simply be a further drain on their scarce resources. Additionally, many were still angry at the angels and demons for the destruction they had wrought upon the Human World in their time in the Celestial Legions and Devildom military, and felt no sympathy for these displaced peoples.
In opposition to the Reformist movement, many of those who had faced the worst the Celestial Realm and the Devildom had to offer argued that trying to restore those two realms was far too dangerous to be worth it. This view was corroborated by Solomon, who asserted that his knowledge of magic led him to believe these two realms were both too far gone. Those of this belief became known as the Cohabitionalists. They believed in the cohabitation of humans, angels, and demons in a rebuilt Human World.
Cohabitionalists often point out that the different species have more or less been sharing the Human World for quite a while already, as most angels and demons have immigrated to the Human World to escape the conditions of their own realms. The Royal Alliance of Diavolo is often pointed to as evidence that a society of all three species can and does work. They are also skeptical of the practicality of restoring the other two realms, believing that the reformistsâ ideas are too unrealistic and that attempting to return to the two realms holds more risk than reward.
Just as a large number of humans opposed housing the demons and angels, a large number also embraced it. Many humans viewed the angels and demons as their honorary brethren after fighting so long and hard by their side. They had a certain sense of solidarity from the Equinox Coalition, and were more than ready to allow the surviving angels and demons to live with them in the Human World. A lot of help would be needed to rebuild it, after all. Many were willing to host the angels and demons as long as they helped with the effort to reverse the damage they had done.
During the war, the Reformists and Cohabitionalists hardly argued. Regardless of their belief, everyone was in it together, and everyone had the common goal of taking down Father and the Demon King. However, after the war ended and their common goal was achieved, the Equinox Coalition quickly split at the question of: âwhat now?â
The discourse between these two groups became very nasty very quickly. It quite literally pitted brother against brother, and every influential leader had something different to say. Simeon and Raphael became aggressive rivals during this period, with Simeon being a strong cohabitionalist and Raphael being a diehard Reformist. Most angels flocked to either Simeon or Raphael, essentially splitting the angels into two parties. Due to the differing ideas, an exhausted and broken Michaelâs refusal to get involved, and Fatherâs absence, the infighting between the angels got out of hand and occasionally violent.
The demons, while less split than the angels due to all acknowledging Diavolo as their rightful leader, were also quite divided. Though Diavolo himself was expressedly a Cohabitionalist, many Reformists from the former demon nobility- such as Mephistopheles- touted him as a new Devildom ruler. The Seven Rulers of Hell couldnât decide amongst themselves what they wanted- some were Reformists, and some were Cohabitionalists. Even the twins, Beelzebub and Belphegor, were split apart by this debate. Belphegor was a passionate Reformist who vehemently opposed living with humans, while Beelzebub didnât want to put anyone through the unforgiving wrath of the two broken realms ever again.
The times directly after the war were extremely uncertain times for all three races. It would eventually become known as âThe Era of Uncertaintyâ.

Mammon has a handgun as his main weapon and uses it to protect from looters
You know, I really wonder how Beelzebub is going to manage in this AU. Like, heâs going to be constantly starving, and we all know how violent he gets when heâs too hungry.
-Raphael to Father
(Takes place after Lore VII. Major characters:Â Raphael, Luke, and Solomon. ~1500 words)
Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. Caked earth crumbled beneath the feet of the three travelers, the soft cracking and crunching filling the silence of the dead air. Solomon put a hand above his eyes to shield them from the light as he gazed out to the horizon. There wasn't much to see. For miles across rolling hills, the earth was dried to a pale beige, covered in cracks and fissures. Heaps of ash and blackened stumps were all that remained of the tranquil forests, and the robin blue sky was now tinted a harsh, ominous yellow. "I hope Michael and Simeon are okay..." Luke uttered. The young child was clearly unsettled, his eyes seeming glued open wide. It was no doubt uncomfortable for the angel to see what had become of the Celestial Realm. Perhaps it wasn't the best idea to bring a child along, but Luke was the only one with a powerful enough protective blessing to shield Solomon and Raphael from the blinding, burning light. The adult angel glanced back at Luke for a second, his dark blue eyes settling on the troubled boy. However, he didn't say anything. And he never slowed his pace. Raphael was silent, and facing forward again before long. "I'm sure they're fine." Solomon offered with a smile. "The Coalition has grown quite powerful. I'm sure they're being taken care of well." "But half the Coalition is demons." Luke pointed out, squirming and shuddering a bit at the thought. "I imagine Lucifer isn't letting them get too out of hand." Raphael stated, glancing back slightly without turning his head. Luke begrudgingly accepted this, and the three continued their trek. While the rest of the Equinox Coalition was making their plans in the Human World, Solomon, Luke and Raphael were on a mission in the Celestial Realm. Their goal? To find the Ring of Light. "According to my research, the Ring of Light might be worth a try." Solomon had said in a meeting with the other Coalition leaders. "Or, it would be." He frowned. "Unfortunately, as many of you know," the sorcerer glanced to Lucifer, "the Ring of Light was lost in the Great Celestial War." "Actually, it wasn't." Michael stepped forth from the corner of the bunker, the flame of his wings illuminating the roundtable as he grew closer. Most of the members instinctively flinched back as he did so, a fact that Michael elected not to comment on. "What do you mean, it wasn't?" Solomon asked. "Oh, right." Simeon spoke with a smile. "Michael, you have the Ring of Light, don't you?" "I do." Michael nodded as he took a step back. "Unfortunately, I left it in the Celestial Realm when I moved to the Human World for the war. It should be in my quarters in the Celestial Palace." The room's skeptical hope dissipated as Michael spoke, and each member looked to one another. A long moment of silence fell over the room. "Just how destroyed is the Celestial Realm, exactly?" Lucifer spoke up, looking at Michael. "If it's anything comparable to the Devildom, it probably isn't worth it." Satan remarked with a sigh. Lucifer shot Satan a harsh look, seeming to lean ever so slightly in towards Lord Diavolo. Lord Diavolo, like Michael, had distanced himself from the table, and he had spent most of the meeting in silent yet clearly visible discomfort from his worsening power-sickness. If Solomon's theory that the magic-neutralizing and magic-managing powers of the Ring of Light could treat power-sickness, Diavolo needed it, and quick. "Simeon..." Michael started. "Yes?" Simeon spoke, a nervous frown present on his scarred face as he turned to face Michael. "How is Luke doing?" A sigh of relief echoed through the room. "Michael, is this really the time to be asking about that?" Simeon asked, earning a subtle nod of agreement from Lucifer. "Last I checked, Luke was nearly untouched by the effects of the light." Michael pointed out. Simeon frowned deeply, his charred wings beginning to lift. "If you think I'll be alright with you sending Luke back up there alone, you are very mistaken." "No, no, let him continue." Raphael spoke, exchanging a glance with Michael. "The reason Luke was able to survive relatively unscathed was because of his nearly unprecedented protective abilities. This protection can be shared with others through blessings." Michael explained. "So, if Luke can shield others from the effects of the light using his blessing, we can potentially send a small team up to the Celestial Realm to procure the ring." Tension seemed to ease from the room as the members looked amongst each other. One question was clearly in everyone's minds: who would this team be? "We should likely keep the team as small as possible, to avoid putting too much strain on Luke." Simeon spoke, earning several nods of agreement. "I believe it goes without saying that Solomon would go, as it was his idea." Michael said. "In that case, at least one high-ranking angel should accompany him, as it is the Celestial Realm. Simeon and I need to stay here to manage and protect the Coalition, so Raphael, would you?" The gray-haired angel nodded. "Of course." And that was how the three ended up on a long journey through the Celestial Realm. Unfortunately, locating the Celestial Palace was proving difficult. The strong light created a sort of white fog that made it extremely difficult to see. With how barren their surroundings were, Luke was beginning to question whether the Celestial Palace was even still standing. Though, of course, he didn't dare say it out loud. Solomon put his hand up as a visor once more and peered into the distance. Finally, he saw the silhouette of a building. It wasn't the Celestial Palace; it wasn't tall enough, and it wasn't in the shape of the palace's spires. But it was something. It could serve as a useful landmark. "There's a building up ahead." Solomon informed the others. "Let's pick up the pace." Raphael responded, much to the short-legged Luke's chagrin. The group covered the ground rather quickly, and found themselves on the cobbled path of a small town. The buildings seemed, surprisingly, in good condition, albeit neglected. Any buildings made of wood had burned away with little trace, leaving only the fire-resistant buildings standing in opposition to the unforgiving realm. "Oh, I think I know where we are." Raphael spoke. "If we go north of here, we should be at the Celestial Palace within twenty minutes." A sigh of relief came in response. "You sound tired, Luke. Do you need me to carry you the rest of the way?" Solomon asked with a teasing smile. "Wha- no I don't! I'll be fine." "Alright," Solomon said skeptically. The light mood was quickly shattered by the sound of shifting rubble. Luke jumped back, and the two adults quickly turned their gaze to their left in the direction of the sound. "What was that?!" Luke asked. Solomon and Raphael looked to each other, nodded, and approached the sound. Solomon was the first to see. A stone roof lay across the ground, split off into pieces. It must have fallen after the wooden walls holding it up burned down. Under a rather large piece, an angel was pinned down. They were stuck from their waist down, laid across another piece of roof. They looked... barely alive. Their feathers had been scorched until only the bare skin of their wings remained, and their body was covered in burns. Whether the burns were from the oppressive heat alone or whatever fire burned the house down was uncertain. But, miraculously, they were breathing. They were breathing. Solomon could see their chest rising and falling. "They're alive!" Solomon exclaimed, voice full of wonder and surprise as he reached and pulled them out from under the rubble. He frowned deeply as the sound of ripping skin filled the air, and a muffled moan rung out. Solomon's eyes widened and he offered a weak, "sorry." As Solomon had dragged the angel out, this brought the body into the view of Luke, who was approaching after Solomon's exclamation. The boy gasped in horror as he laid his eyes on them. "Are they going to be okay?!" He demanded. They weren't. Solomon could tell when he brought the angel down and got a good look at their face. The flesh across the entire face seemed melted. Not just burnt; melted. It was nearly impossible to make out any features. Not because they didn't exist anymore, like with Michael, but because they were so swollen and distorted and fused together. This angel must have been trapped there, forced to stare up at the sun, for who knows how long. And considering they weren't able to escape to the Human World, they were likely a low-ranking angel. The low-ranking angels got it the worst. Raphael walked towards the body and knelt down. Without a word, he held onto their hand. Given how burnt it was, Solomon half expected the skin to slough off, but it didn't. There was hardly time to. Within an instant, the entire body was turned to a bright white silhouette, then vanished. Only ash was left in its place. Luke gasped. "Raphael, why did you do that?!" He screamed. Raphael still said nothing, only standing back up with a solemn look on his face. "RAPHAEL!" Luke yelled. Raphael still didn't acknowledge Luke, only turning to Solomon to say "let's keep goi-" "NO, Raphael! What did you do?! How could you just... WHY?! You just murd-" "Quiet!" Raphael snarled, face twisting into a vicious grimace as he clenched his shaking fists at his sides. Luke's eyes widened as he stumbled back. Raphael took a deep breath and once again told Solomon, "Let's keep going." The rest of the expedition was dead silent.

So, as many of you probably already know, thereâs a specific song that inspired this AU, and I figured Iâd match some of the lyrics up to characters.
âThe dark side of light,
I gave you devotion
My blood and my life.â
-Lucifer
âI trusted your stars
they were once my guide
but now they are falling,
along with the sun.â
-Belphegor
~
âBreaker of day, I gave you
My sword, my heart and my faith.
But now the sky is burning
And I scream and wonder
When did your fire become so cold?â
-Raphael
~
âCold winds
Will come like a storm
Destroying everything,â
-Diavolo
âEveryone we love.â
-Mephistopheles
~
âWhatâs worth fighting for,
The reason to win,
Our land, our home, the air we breathe!â
-The Coalition
~
âWhat lives beneath the sun
Is written in the stars!
Why canât you understand?!â
-Michael & Lucifer
~
âOne by one
Weâll fight
Side by side
Weâll fight!
Together!â
-Simeon

Iâm excited to bring you guys the first new lore post! Iâve been doing a lot of tweaking to it over the past week, so hopefully it makes sense!Â
<-------(Lore VI)-------«
With the Celestial Realm and the Devildom destroyed and the Human World on its way, it wasnât long before voices began to cry out, âenough is enough.â
Even the most loyal of the angels began to doubt Father as they watched everything they stood for collapse around them, and the demons began to realize that their own king was a bigger threat than the Celestial Realm ever was. The war had become nothing more than an ego-brawl between Father and the Demon King; they didnât care about their subjects anymore.
As more and more people realized this, rebel groups began to form in opposition to the war. Two of the most prominent were the Celestial Resistance and the Royal Alliance of Diavolo.
The Celestial Resistance, led by Simeon, was a rebel group made up primarily of angels who had defected from the Celestial Legions, though they would later gain the support of the seven brothers and others. The Celestial Resistance mostly focused on the best interests of angels, and as such the overthrow of Father was their main priority. All else, including dealing with the Demon King, came second. Many within the group believed that the fight against Father was the battle of angels and former-angels alone, being opposed to the involvement of humans and natural-born demons. Compared to the Royal Alliance of Diavolo, the Celestial Resistance had much greater fighting prowess, as most members had been archangels and seraphim. However, the group had weakness in their lack of diversity- due to the vast majority being angels, the Celestial Resistance could often come across as narrow-minded. This issue would only grow worse as the more conservative angels joined the rebellion- eventually, the Celestial Legions would entirely disband due to Michael and Raphaelâs defection, giving the remaining members- most of which were still very conservative- little choice but to follow their former leaders into the rebellion. There was also infighting- Lucifer and his brothers made things complicated, plus the angels were unsure how to get along even with each other without Father unifying them. Their leader, Simeon, was very aware of these issues and tried his best to rectify them. The addition of Lucifer and his brothers to the team also helped sway the Celestial Resistance in a more inclusive direction that would eventually allow them to ally with other rebellion groups.
The Royal Alliance of Diavolo, or RAD, was a much more diverse group, with a more unanimously open-minded approach to the war. This group was made up of humans, demons, and angels alike who sought refuge in the sanctuary Lord Diavolo created in the human world. The group was primarily made up of lower-ranking angels and demons as well as humans- less powerful beings who had needed Diavoloâs aid to escape their situations. Most were refugees rather than trained fighters. However, what they lacked in strength, they made up for in passion and cohesiveness. Royal Alliance members are far more used to working together across species boundaries than the Celestial Resistance, and did so well. Despite the vast range of backgrounds, all Alliance members had a strong loyalty to each other. They built up a strong sense of brotherhood and comradery through their shared efforts to survive the war, and almost any member would lay down their life for another without hesitation. All of them are highly loyal to Diavolo, as many owe him their life. The Royal Alliance of Diavolo would later become a blueprint for society post-Armageddon, as it was the first real example of humans, demons, and angels living together harmoniously and successfully.
For a long while, these two rebel groups functioned without knowing of the otherâs existence. However, when their existence came to light, the two were quick to reach out to one another and work together to determine a course of action. Eventually, the two groups merge to form the Equinox Coalition.Â
The Equinox Coalition, co-led by Simeon and Diavolo, was the ultimate band of humans, demons, angels and even reapers opposed to the war. Their namesake comes from their core philosophy: There must be balance between the darkness and the light.
The Equinox Coalition would later be joined by the United Forces of Humanity, a collection of the human worldâs military forces that had originally formed to resist the invasion of the Human World.
The Equinox Coalition expands its goals far beyond the fight against Father, also seeking to take down the Demon King and explore all possible avenues for a more balanced future. By the end of the Armageddon, all major Obey Me characters will have joined the Equinox Coalition.

-Lucifer to Raphael
Thirteen, as a reaper, had much more distance from the events than the other characters did. Though she did reside in the Devildom, her deep cave did shelter her from the effects that ravaged the rest of the realm. However, Thirteen had to get involved when the Armageddon interfered with her job. She took notice that her candles were burning out at an alarming rate, across all three races in all three realms. She was absolutely dumbfounded- she was an experienced reaper, she couldnât have messed something up this badly; what was going on?
Given her hermit lifestyle, there were few people she could go to about the situation. Her older sister Candy was out of the question. As the situation grew more and more troubling, Thirteen eventually had no choice but to go to Solomon. She confronted him angrily, wanting to believe heâd just pulled some prank as part of their rivalry, only to find Solomon disheveled and disturbed.
After exchanging their knowledge of the situation, the two of them formed a begrudging alliance. Thirteen still very much held her grudge on Solomon, and she had no real emotional attachment to the wellbeing of the realms, but she understood that as a reaper she could not allow the situation to continue. Life and death was her domain, and it was her job to keep them in balance. A reaper could not be a reaper in a world with nothing left to die. As such, she fought fervently to end the war, Solomon at her side.
Within their duo, Thirteen was much more of the front-line fighter. As Solomon researched and attempted to form political allegiances, Thirteen focused on battle. She fought against the armies of Father and the Demon King, as well as rogue human looters. Due to her more rough-and-tumble approach, she needed clothing much more suited to battle. Her exposed midriff was a strong disadvantage in battle; even a reaper wasnât immune to physical attack. Her crop top was replaced with a full-length plated breastplate made of unknown material that was off-white in color, looking like bone. In the middle of the chest was a black skull shape. Thirteen also donned a dark mauve-purple cloak, made of thick fabric to defend from attacks. The inside of the cloak was lined with rows of pockets for storing her various traps. Though she very much still relied on her traps, she also took up a melee weapon, a large black scythe. Later in the war, an incident would happen that left her missing her left eye. After this, she also wore a black eyepatch.
