Leona is such a complex character and I’ve always wanted to dig deeper into his motivations, so what better way than a reel with an audio that I feel suits him perfectly. Book Two might now have had the best execution, but it still set up a lot of interesting and complex character motives and backstory. This reel is kind of my take on the aftermath of Book Two, hence the bandages on Ruggie. I think Book Two really could have benefited from an aftermath chapter just between Ruggie, Jack, and Leona, hashing it all out, probably yelling, but then they come to realize just who they are.
