I am indeed alive!! I’ve been working on this for a while, but life has been crazy recently.

Daphne and the WK Team

Chris: Daphne likes Chris. He struggles to relate to her at times because he’s outdoors, literally touching grass. Whenever he needs help with the internet, he’ll call her over, knowing she’s good at that stuff. He watches her grow up in many ways, and is close with her, but sometimes he questions her mother’s intentions. He isn’t wholly convinced that Donita completely reformed, but he is willing to try to get over it, due to lack of evidence that she is back to her villainy ways. 

Martin: Daphne has always had an interesting relationship with Martin. Her mom was around him a lot, but she didn’t know very much about him. He was around enough for it to be suspicious, but not enough for Daphne to confront Martin or Donita about it.  Their relationship is their business and Daphne tries to just focus on her own relationship with him. He’s genuinely a very nice person, and while Daphne doesn’t talk to him without her mother around very often, he seems to be a like minded person to her. 

Aviva: Daphne loves Aviva. She’s probably the closest to Daphne of the WK team and they often chat to each other in Spanish. Aviva really cares about Daphne, but at times, especially when grades are involved, oversteps and tries to parent Daphne and force her to be better. She doesn’t think Daphne is trying hard enough in school, and doesn’t realize that math and science don’t come as easily to Daphne as they do to her. Despite all this, Daphne spends lots of time with Aviva and sends her some of her mothers finished products she thinks she’ll like.

Koki: Daphne didn’t get along very well with Koki in the beginning. They clashed a lot about the internet, since they both are on it and are prominent figures on it. Koki is against influencers in general, viewing them as scammers and not productive in society, and this bias bled into her relationship with Daphne. Daphne being Donita’s daughter didn’t help either. Koki is still semi convinced that the new being good act is just an act and Donita is waiting for them to let their guard down. As Daphne got more mature, she started talking to Koki more and told her more about her career on the internet and how not every influencer is the same. They eventually became closer, but still aren’t completely friends, with Daphne feeling hurt about what Koki said and Koki is still suspicious of Daphne.

Jimmy: Daphne rarely if ever interacts with Jimmy. She respects what he does but they just don’t have much in common. They follow each other on social media and like each other’s posts but their interactions don’t often go beyond a like and potential short comment. When they meet in person, they are both very awkward, preferring to interact with the safety of their screen in front of them. Daphne and Jimmy are both fine with this relationship, but people around them are pushing them to become closer due to their positive interactions.

MY WILD KRATTS/ZACH BIRTHDAY CAKE!!!! 2.0 EDITION!!!!

My aunt did it again, she made me a beautiful Wild Kratts/Zach birthday cake! She always makes custom cakes for all our family members for their birthdays and for special occasions. So when asked what type of cake I wanted this year, she was surprised when I said I wanted another Wild Kratts/Zach cake. She could not believe I was still interested in him….but you all know….this is now a 4 year long obsession 😂. But my aunt was all for it! I showed her one of my favorite pictures of Zach, and she created this beautiful cake!

She made the icing light green like his eyes, and the boarder is a gray and red mixture like Zach’s color scheme! I mean literally look at that color combo and tell me Zach would not approve, he absolutely would!

She also included a flower….and wait, give me a minute, I’m so emotional over that…like my whole Wild Violets AU, my whole relationship with Zach is inspired/represented by flowers. I did not tell my aunt this, but she included it in the cake?!?! And if you look closely you see that it has what color in it: Violet. Violet for Violet. That’s what I’m going with…it’s like Vi/I were included in the cake, and I just love it.

The corner of the cake had the icing sliding off by the time I got the pictures, but my dad got a couple better pictures which I plan to post on my actual birthday along a video of the cake, and photos of a mini cake she made for the family! But for now, here it is 🥰. I am so thankful and grateful for my aunt making me this special cake, and I am so happy to be able to share it with you all!

Aviva: Tell to the pale, the one who is prone to wail

Koki: Then he will prepare to set sail

María: *with a towel on Razo's head* you shouldn't play in the garden, you know that

Razo: I'm sorry Maria...*scolded*

María: well, nothing happens, go with Hasper and * watch the wolf leave * uff and that pumpkin was for lunch. Or well, I'll use it for compost

*Bell ring*

Maria: huh!? Did they arrive so early? *surprised* Hello, put the Husky mantle on the others.

Hello: yes, don't worry

María: agh and I still haven't finished preparing the food or setting up the table outside *goes to open the door* Chris *surprised* and the rest? *leans over to look outside and sees no one*

Chris: no, I'm alone, I wanted to come help you *scratches the back of his neck nervously*

María: ah, very good, he comes in * takes him by the hand and shows him in *

....

Zach: very good, this is the plan * with a ruler he points to a drawing that she made * we will kidnap the girl from Ureña so that the green boy can rescue her and they can fall in love with her and be happy

Donita: mh...and how are we going to kidnap her?

Gourmound: Yes, from what we saw, she has two dogs. As soon as they see what we are doing, they will alert her.

Zach: but they already saw us before, surely her simple minds will think that we are visiting friend, plus we could use Donita to convince her that she comes

Donita: and why me? I don't want to be surrounded by mud from the rain. Can't your wife go?

Zach: I don't want to involve her in this, Martin is very aggressive with these issues, and didn't you want to be her godmother? You have to get to know and become friends with the bride, right?

Donita: Yes, but I thought I would meet her when she was already here, what if Gourmound is better off with her dog? They are both dog owners, it could help.

Gourmound: I didn't bring it with me, although you could also use a Zachbot or two for this and they wouldn't even notice

Donita: I like that plan

Zach: ugh well, then... I'll send a Zachbot to catch the girl when they are distracted with something, then we make a call saying that we have her, Chris arrives, defeats us as always and rescues her, they fall in love and are happy, okay ?

*the two villains nod*

Zach: Perfect, let's get started!

Martin: Where is Chris?

Aviva: left early to go help Maria

Martin: ah... *serious* just when he had to talk to him about something

Aviva: they can do it later

Martin: *takes a deep breath* okay, I'll walk a little while, let me know when you're gone *leaves*

Aviva: and now what's wrong with him? *looks at Jimmy and Koki who shake their heads

Koki: maybe it's brother jealousy, it's very normal

Aviva: yes it can be...

Martin: ugh, I can't believe she meant let's go to that girl's house again *complaint* well, at least she'll serve as a tour guide I guess... huh? What is that sound ? *hides in the bushes and watches a Zachbot pass by* What is Zach planning? *decides to follow robot*

*Hallo and Kris looked at the humans from afar*

Pandy: everything okay?

Hallo without taking his eyes off them: why wouldn't he be?

Kris: Everything's fine honey, we're just watching.

Pandy: haha, she'll be fine, they don't have to be so upset, and human Chris seems to be a good boy.

Kris: Chris human?

Pandy: that's what we decided to name it, Razo thought it was a good idea

Hello: ah, thanks for asking us, it was a nice detail

Pandy: ...guys, I know it's difficult, this situation is complicated for me too.

Hello: well you don't look *annoyed*

Kris: we just want him to be happy but

Hello: it seems like yesterday when she was just a little girl....

Pandy: yes, I miss those moments too *starts looking too*

Chris: a question Maria, how did you meet them? *curious*

María: they only appeared, at first it was only Kris, then Hallo, Pandy, then Rojo and I was the only one who could see them, until Razo arrived and my mother was scared to see 5 wolves and one rotting in my room then they came rest. I was 7 years old at the time haha

Chris: Did they just show up? *turns to see them*

Pandy: *I smiled and wags my tail*

María: yes, then things happened... and we ended up living here

Chris: oh and did your parents take it well?

María:...*hangs her head* they thought it was sad but they said it was fine

Kris: Maria, I think I heard Hasper barking in the orchard.

Maria: In the garden! I have to go see! *it goes*

Chris: I'll help you *Hello, they stop him* eh?

Hello: calm down, human Chris, it was just a distribution

Kris: There are some things you need to know.

Chris: did I do something wrong?

Pandy: no, not at all dear, just there things you need to know

Kris: when María was little, she lost her parents because of bad people, luckily an older man took pity on us and together with his wife adopted her as his granddaughter, he was the one who let us live in this cabin, so better not touch that topic

Chris: oh I didn't know, I have to apologize to her *sorry*

Hallo: yes, you were an idiot, oh!

Pandy hit him: don't tell him like that, he couldn't know! *looks at him annoyed* don't pay attention to him, they're a little grumpy today

Chris: Don't worry.

Pandy: but if what you said worries you so much, the garden is in the back *winks at him*

Chris: Yes, thanks Pandy.

Maria: Hasper?, Hasper? Where are you lobitoOo *something grabs her from behind and lifts her* what is she!?

*sees a robot appear with an extended bag and they put it in it*

Maria: wait! What do you think they are doing!? Let me go!!!!! *kicking in the bag*

*the zachbots look at each other and then leave without anyone seeing them or so they thought*

Martin: oh...this is bad *decides to go after them* don't worry María, I'll help you!

Zachbot: *turns around*....

Martin: *in fighting pose* you better let go of the girl oh. No, wait! *the Zachbot takes it too and they leave*

Maria/Martin: this is not fair! Aid!

What a cute story! Who wouldn’t be happy to have their partner surprise them on their birthday 🥳

Posting this a day late, but oh well!

Since yesterday was my birthday I decided to include a fic excerpt from one of Violet’s birthdays! It’s either her 19th or 20th birthday, I haven’t decided yet. But I hope you all enjoy it! Putting it below the cut due to length and mentions of alcohol consumption, a few crude comments, and references to a toxic relationship.

I had barely opened the menu when the sound of people singing happy birthday caught my attention. I looked into the restaurant, and saw the girl I was looking for: my Violet. 

Violet’s long hair was pulled back in a braid, and she was dressed in a simple off-the-shoulder, lilac sundress with a black apron around her waist. She smiled and blushed as her family and the patrons of the restaurant sang happy birthday to her.

The waitress in front of me huffed and rolled her eyes. I sensed she did not like Violet very much, and I was more than ready to get rid of her, “I know what I want,” I announced. 

She pulled out a notepad and looked at me expectantly, I fished out my wallet and produced a $20 bill, “I want the birthday girl to serve me, here’s something for your time.”

The girl’s brown eyes widened, and she stuffed the bill into her apron pocket, “of course, thank you, I’ll go get her!”

I was busy thanking everyone for the impromptu birthday song when Nicole ran up to me out of breath, “I’ve got a customer for you, he’s a very good tipper, he just gave me 20 dollars to seat him, and he requested you!”

Nicole usually did not speak to me because she claimed I’d stolen Travis from her, which was far from the truth. I figured she was setting me up for embarrassment, but part of me was hopeful that there really was a customer who wanted me to be their waitress. 

I smiled and said, “okay, here’s to hoping he tips me well too!”

“Yeah, you can treat yourself to a nice birthday present,” my cousin Paige winked at me, having overheard the conversation. 

“I guess,” I whispered, fixing my hair and going to the table where the gentleman was seated. 

When I arrived he sat holding the menu up, covering his face, “good evening sir, can I start you off with something to drink?”

He responded in a gruff, hateful sounding voice, “do you recommend anything? I usually prefer alcohol, but there’s none listed. What type of an island restaurant is this if you can’t get alcohol?”

I felt taken aback by his comment, “I apologize sir, but it is the preference of the owner of the restaurant to not serve alcohol.”

“Why’s that? Is she a prude?” He snickered and something about his voice was oddly familiar. I stood on my toes to peer over the menu covering his face, but he held it closer to him and raised it slightly.

I tried to bite my tongue, but it was no use, I would not stand for whoever this was insulting the aunt who had practically raised me, “Sir, I respectfully disagree with you, the owner is my aunt, and she prefers to host a restaurant where good food and fun can be had without the negative impacts that result from alcoholic consumption. If that is a problem with you, you can go to a neighboring restaurant or bar that does serve alcohol.”

“Ohhh, that’s a bold statement, but I should expect it coming from a sexy little minx such as yourself,” I could hear the laugh in his voice, and I’d had enough. It was one thing for Travis to make crude comments about me, but this man was a stranger, this was unexceptable. 

“Sir, I am sorry, but I do not appreciate your comments. They are making me very uncomfortable. If you cannot refrain from saying such things, I will have to ask you to leave.”

“Awww, come on, you can’t ask your friend to leave,” he pouted, lowering the menu enough for me to see jet black hair. 

The gears in my mind started turning, who did I know with black hair? And before I could stop myself, I asked, “who are you?”

The man lowered the menu and took off a pair of triangular sunglasses at the same time, his voice returning to normal, to a voice I'd wanted to hear for so long, “happy birthday, Vi.”

I felt a few tears fall from my eyes as I looked at his smiling face. I approached him and he stood up quickly, gathering me into a hug without me initiating it. I threw my arms around his neck as his head fell to the crook of my neck, “I’m so happy to see you, Zach,” I whispered.

Day 8: I’m Good (Blue)

So this is more of a “vibe” song for Zach and Violet. I imagine them together in their pre relationship phase and this song is playing in the background as they fly down Outer Banks’ oceanfront Highway 12 on a motorcycle. Why? Because in my AU Zach can drive a motorcycle. It’s a very attractive concept to me…And this song, like riding a motorcycle is representative of a feeling of freedom.

Note on my OCs listed here: Todd is Koki’s cousin, Paige is his wife/Violet’s cousin, Nathaniel is Paige and Todd’s little boy, and Amy is Violet’s aunt/Paige’s mom. Also I’ve never drove/ridden a motorcycle so I hope this all seems accurate!

“Whose is this?” Zach asked pointing his thumb toward the motorcycle parked in the driveway at Amy’s house. 

“It’s Todd’s,” I replied cocking my head at Zach in curiosity, “why do you ask?”

“It’s nice is all…” he whispered looking closer at the chrome work. 

“What? Do you like it?” I question, surprised that he was so interested in it. 

“Yeah, I do, oh come on, don’t look so surprised, I’ve had one since college…” Zach grinned, winking at me. 

“I don’t believe it…” I whispered. 

“Why not?” His voice rose in aggravation. 

I sputtered, “I-I-I, ummm, You’re just so….scared of things and unsure of yourself….I thought you would be scared to death to even look at one.” 

He balled his hands into fists, “don’t think I know how to ride it, huh? We’ll see about that. Zachbots bring me my motorcycle gear!“

“What!?!?” I shrieked, and within seconds the robots obeyed his order and he was dressed in full motorcycle gear, all in his signature colors and with his V logo. He pulled the helmet on and flicked the visor up to look at me before he took a seat on the motorcycle.

Zach sat on the motorcycle and looked at it to get his bearings, then he grinned mischievously at me, “Do you think he’d let me ride it? Just so I can prove you wrong, you’re welcome to join me.”

“ARE YOU CRAZY!” I screamed. 

“No, I’m dead serious,” Zach replied turning to me, admittedly he did look comfortable on the motorcycle. 

At that moment Todd happened to come out of Amy’s house, he looked at Zach and me suspiciously, “hey, what’s going on you two?”

“He wants to prove he can drive a motorcycle, and he wants me to join him!” I shrieked. 

Todd started laughing, he patted Zach’s shoulder enthusiastically, “oh this I’ll pay to see, it’ll be better than when I took Paige the first time!” He fished the keys out of his pocket and gave them to Zach.

I huffed, digging the toe of my shoe into the dirt, “I can’t, I’m wearing a dress!” 

Todd laughed and spoke up, “I’ll get Paige’s riding stuff for you to borrow, Violet!”

“Todd, Todd! Oh no you won’t, I’m not going on that thing!” I screamed after him, but he soon disappeared into my aunt’s house and reappeared with Paige who starting hollering at me from the doorway, drawing the attention of the neighbors until I caved and followed them inside.

I emerged a few minutes later decked out in Paige’s riding outfit and holding her helmet at my side, I glared at Todd who walked along beside me. Paige, Amy, and Nathanial followed us giggling, “you just had to open your mouth,” I growled.

Todd smirked and patted my head, “go on little cousin, I wanna see this, and you have an audience now…”

I stood hesitantly beside Zach and the motorcycle, looking from Zach to my family, Zach was becoming impatient and he bit out, “are ya coming or not?”

“If you kill me, I expect to have a nice spray on my casket!” I groaned pulling the helmet on. I hesitantly swung my left leg over the back of the bike. 

“I’ll notify my mom, she’ll prepare a stunning arrangement for the occasion. Now put your arms around me, and let’s go,” he flicked the visor to his helmet down and I did the same, then I wrapped my shaky arms around his thin waist, holding on to him for dear life.

Zach grazed his fingers over my arms before returning his hands to the handlebars, “you’ll be fine, I won’t hurt you.” 

“Okay…” I agreed, burying my head against his back and scrunching my eyes shut as Zach turned on the engine and the motorcycle roared to life.

Ten minutes later we are flying down Highway 12, I’d screamed for the first couple minutes of the ride, but I soon became accustomed to the motion and realized Zach truly was a skilled motorcyclist.

I felt comfortable enough to lift my head and look to the ocean to our left, the sea breeze was blowing my hair behind me under the helmet…so this is what freedom feels like, I thought to myself.

Zach and Donita

Donita Donata didn’t need anybody’s help, especially not some annoying tech billionaire who probably never worked hard at anything, she just happened to meet. So why couldn’t she stop thinking about the conversation they had the night before? He seemed genuinely interested in her designs and introduced her to some of his clients, meaning for the first time since she moved to America, she had clients. Donita was still grappling with her opinion on Zach, when she walks into her cheap apartment and sees none other than Zachary Varmitech himself and about 5 Zach-bots, milling around. Zach somehow managed to convince her to accept a loan from him to start her empire, in exchange for her help in defeating the ‘Wild Ratts’, two brothers Donita had occasionally seen on the news. Donita reluctantly agreed and the two got to work.

Over the years, Zach and Donita became closer and closer, with Donita and Zach viewing themselves as business partners and very close friends. Donita was there for all of Zach’s biggest achievements. She had designed and sew Violet’s wedding dress, handmade clothing for Zach’s children, and was always there to listen to Zach, even when he was whining to her. Therefore, Zach couldn’t understand why he was seeing a picture of Donita and Henry, a man he is convinced won’t last and isn’t good for her, outside a courthouse in Vegas. He was always the impulsive one with Donita and Violet talking him out of his craziest schemes, and now he’s finding out that his sister friend and business partner got eloped in Vegas without even telling him, talk about hypocritical. He was shocked, hurt and wondered about why they were moving so quickly. 

Once Zach found out about Daphne, he understood why they got married so quickly, but was still upset he missed their wedding. Once Daphne was born, Zach and Violet were quickly enamored with her, insisting on buying way too many toys for her. But Zach never was able to warm up to Henry, even at his wife’s insistence to at least pretend to like him. When Donita’s marriage began to fall apart, Zach tried to get her to ask for a divorce everytime he saw her, much to Donita’s horror and annoyance. Right when Zach decided to give up, Donita told him she was going to get divorced, and asked him for a good lawyer. 

Zach knew that Donita deserved and still deserves better than Henry. He wants her to find a love like he has with Violet, but is content with her being happy and single alone. He is eternally grateful to Donita for all she has done for him, and the bond she has established with his children, something that makes his heart swell. All he ever wanted was for her to be happy and if that was being single, he was fine with that. Besides, Donita Donata didn’t need anybody’s help.
