Denial? Perhaps, but it's not as if the world just suddenly went on fire. Maybe it was always burning, and we just suddenly noticed. Not everybody knows how to extinguish their own paths and cool themselves down. All they know is how to fan the flames to make them spread, as that is what they've been shown. Maybe that is why we see the world is such an awful place-All we see is fire, the smoke clouds our vision and our judgement and we are hardwired to panic, and so we never see the fire extinguishers in the end.``
