My name is Mohamed Saqr, and just a short time ago, my family and I were living a life full of hope and stability in Gaza. We had worked hard for everything we had – multiple homes, a farm, and several successful businesses. Life was good, and we were building a future for ourselves. My brother, 24, recently married, and we were both proud of the lives we had built. But all of that changed in a heartbeat when the war began on October 7th.
this is my brother, Motaz Saqr, who had to undergo surgery in his stomach due to the pollution we are exposed to daily.
This is my house, before and after, im newly married and this was the house we were supposed to live in but the war happened and it turned into rubble since the war.
Since that day, everything we knew has been taken away from us. We were forced to flee our homes, leaving behind everything we had worked for. We lost our homes, our farm, and our businesses. Now, my family and I are constantly on the move, trying to find safety and shelter wherever we can. The fear we live with every day is unimaginable. We move from one camp to another, never knowing when or where the next attack might come. My brother’s children cry every night, scared of the loud explosions that seem to be getting closer with each passing day.
This is my brother’a daughter, this is the condition we are living in during the war.
Every day is a struggle just to survive. Food, water, and medicine are scarce, and we never know if the next meal will come. My wife, my brother, his wife, and their children are doing everything we can to stay strong, but it’s getting harder by the day. We’ve lost so much, but the hardest part is the constant fear for our lives. We’ve already witnessed too much destruction, and we know the situation could get even worse.
We started this GoFundMe because we need help. We need funds not only to survive but also to try and escape Gaza before it’s too late. We are asking for your support – anything you can give will make a huge difference in our lives. Your generosity could help provide food, clean water, and medical supplies, and it might even help us find a way out of this nightmare. Please, if you can, help us. Every donation brings us one step closer to safety and a chance at rebuilding our lives.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I’ll be so fucking mad if they shut down Tumblr. I just joined it nearly a year ago and it has been so much better than any other social media platform I’ve been on.
matt just fired half the remaining tumblr support staff lmao
I'm sorry, but you cannot convince me there is a single heterosexual explanation for this scene.
(This is mainly regarding the part where they're actually watching the show. Timeframe of that clip from the video is 0:59 to 1:32.)
First we get the slow zoom in towards Harry's face where he’s shown peering intently at MJ with a comical grin till he suddenly decides to turn his attention towards Peter's face in the crowd and his gaze hardness on him. (I also want to mention how he wasn't searching for his face and seemed to know exactly where to look, so that might say something.)
There's the romantic music and its lyrics in the background, that sure eventually fade off and morph into a more eerie melody but only for a moment. Because the second it returns back to the original melody it just so conveniently does when Harry looks at Peter.
There's the couple second long side profile shot of just Peter singing along to the music happily, which we know we're seeing through Harry's point of view.
And, I know this is a really small detail that might not even be noticeable and maybe not all that significant because of that. But from the looks of it, when we cut back to Harry he appears to give a small snarl... and then his expression abruptly softens. Right when the music starts to die down. And he just continues staring at Peter, even when the applause starts roaring in for MJ—the supposed girl of both of their dreams.
Like, just all around there’s such heavy subtext (whether intentional or not) provided by the simple framing of this clip.

Seeing these two icons right next to each other in my activity feed was too funny for me NOT to do something about it.
Hello, my name is Areej Kassab. I’m a 27-year-old English teacher and writer from Gaza, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for support. My family and I are enduring unimaginable hardships as relentless bombings devastate our home and our dreams.
We are a family of 15—10 adults and 5 children. Every day is a battle for survival. Food is scarce, humanitarian aid is not reaching us, and my little nieces and nephews go to bed hungry. Among them is my sister, who is deaf, and another sister who has a newborn baby. They, too, are suffering in this crisis, and I’m doing everything I can to protect and provide for them.
💔 A Life in Ruins The war has robbed us of everything: safety, peace, and even the hope of a future here. My family’s needs are basic yet critical—food, clean water, diapers for the babies, gas for cooking, and other essentials to make it through each day.
With rising prices and limited access to necessities, we are struggling to provide even the most basic items. My sister’s home has been destroyed, and we are working together to ensure everyone has shelter, food, and warmth.
✨ My Plea for Your Support ✨ I’m a writer, and I’ve been documenting the harsh realities faced by my community under siege. But words can only do so much. We need action, and we need help. Your kindness can save us.
🙏 How You Can Help
Donate: Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to securing the essentials we desperately need.
Share Our Story: If you can’t donate, please share this post to help us reach others who can.
Your support will help provide food for the children, clean water for my family, and basic supplies to help us survive this unimaginable crisis.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing in solidarity with us. Together, we can create a lifeline for my family—a chance to live, to dream, and to hope again.
With love and gratitude, Areej Kassab ❤️
I think my love for Raimiverse Harry Osborn stems from the fact that all the core elements of his character are kept intact. James Franco may be conventionally attractive, but Harry isn't a cool eccentric extrovert. He is shy, soft-spoken, sensitive, and dealing with emotional abuse and neglect from his father while also being clearly neurodivergent and VERY queer coded. The identity issues that stem from years of neglect, feelings of worthlessness, and mental issues he has aren't played as a joke nor demonized. I think it's the best live-action portrayal we've gotten so far.
‘norman’ or should we say, goblin, proceeds to say: “norman is a wuss. you’re right otto, he woudn’t do that. but *I* would.
You know, I'm something of a scientist myself
Colored an old sketch of Norman for an updated PFP. It really needed updating lol.
Made a long list of movies to put in one of those roulettes to have prompts for short studies ✨️ first pick was "The Thing"
i really love how victoria’s biggest concern in life is her daughter’s year abroad while sons are fucking and her husband is suicidal
