Iām working on some stuff at the moment, so I wanted to make a little silly post in the meantime.
Being way too much into comics and Cartoon Network, I have this British CN comics annual thatās not easy to come by these days (I got it off eBay for 8 bucks from some dude in Florida).
On the surface itās just a mere compliation of DCās Cartoon Network comics from around that timeā¦but this book is (gasp) - vandalized!
Okay, itās not that bad, most of the vandalization is just some petty kid scribbling stuff in. Itās not annoying, but it is a little bit funny. What isnāt funny is that thereās no Courage the Cowardly Dog comic despite him being on that pretty sweet crossover cover.
The vandalization follows a pattern depending on the comic but I saved the most egregious for down below (did the Powerpuff Girls really need noses?)
Another vacay doodle - in alternate universe, this is a real joke in that second PPG reboot and it ages horribly in 20 years. Fun!
Hey everybody! Time for a brief update.
I apologize for the lack of posts - life and uni just came in swinging, so I had to avoid socials for a bit. Next week or so Iāll start posting my comic and other stuff I have in my pipeline soon!

āCaptainās log, supplemental: the Enterprise has encountered an alien life form who identified himself as āZiggyāā
Iām still working on some big projects, so time for a little something something: a piece of animation history known as No Neck Joe.
The shorts themselves arenāt that amazing, theyāre just short, silent cartoons backed by a peppy synth soundtrack that build up to an absurd joke at No Neck Joeās existence. What makes them interesting is how this was Craig McCrackenās first pieces of animation work and how they were a staple at Spike and Mikeās Sick and Twisted Animation Festival, though I donāt see how they are that sick after watching them (oh, do I jinx myself).
It does beg the question - what would an adult oriented show backed by Craig McCracken and Lauren Faust would look like? Maybe not this, but itās certainly a thought. However, by the time Craig finished these shorts he was hard at work on Dexterās Laboratory and soon the Powerpuff Girls, for some reason they were somehow popular enough a new set of shorts were commissioned by the Spike and Mike festival from a pre-Jimmy Neutron and Barynard DNA Productions, which feature stark enough differences with the art style, humor, animation and character design.
Yeah, now these shorts go places content wise. At least No Neck Joe gets a happy endingā¦
You can watch the complete collection of shorts below, but they do contain mature content later on so be advised if youāre sensitive to that stuff.
