You know what makes the first Guardians of the Galaxy a whole hell of a lot funnier upon second or third viewings? (With some context of the second movie undertow?)

Knowing that for the first hour or so: Peter Quill is essentially, while avoiding Yondu all over the stars and systems, acting like a stubborn child who doesn’t want to be caught breaking the rules in worry of being punished by his dad.

Don’t believe me? Think I’m making things up for the sake of goodhearted crack? Well, that may be so, but any case! Let’s take a little journey through some of the scenes with Yondu and Peter in the first movie, shall we?
