You know what makes the first Guardians of the Galaxy a whole hell of a lot funnier upon second or third viewings? (With some context of the second movie undertow?)

Knowing that for the first hour or so: Peter Quill is essentially, while avoiding Yondu all over the stars and systems, acting like a stubborn child who doesn’t want to be caught breaking the rules in worry of being punished by his dad.

Merlin really doesn’t get the credit he deserves among the knights for full on charging at the prince in a public square with a mace on like his first day in Camelot. They really be like “gotta protect our delicate little Merlin” every episode and Merlin be like “I literally publicly attempted regicide on my first day, but go off I guess.”
