Summary: Geralt takes a bad wound right before he is supposed to go up the mountain for the winter. Jaskier decides to go to Kaer Morhen in the worst way possible, uninvited with an injured Witcher.

The only thing keeping the redhead sane was the letters from Aiden in their enchanted notebooks. They’d swapped them a few years ago, holding onto them to keep in touch. It was a nice way to know the person he was closest to was doing alright when he wasn’t ready to bring him home for the winter, and he wasn’t sure Aiden would appreciate it either. Cats and Wolves weren’t known for getting along, even if Aiden was stable. Comparatively.

Usually, it took longer into the winter before Lambert had to rely on the book like he was now.

so the netflix show has already shown us two of dream's other aspects, kai'ckul and the king of cats, but one of my favourite things about the endless in the comics is that they have a different incarnation for every single species and culture that has ever experienced them, in this case, if your people dream, you have a personalised Dream

and the comics are also part of the dcu, which means there are a LOT of other species out there to dream

many of these screenshots were taken from one issue which involves a meeting in dream's head between all of his different incarnations, some are just from other places in the comic, but my personal favourites include:

l'zoril, dream god of the green martians

to fill out the superheroes requirement, kryptonian dream

fish dream

flower dream, and tree dream

femme dream, with just as much dedication to not wearing a shirt as her masculine counterpart

bird dream, insect dream, and robotic insect dream

two different kinds of cat person

these funky lil guys

whatever is going on here with the tentacle robot, the teen titans looking motherfucker, the dragon, and the guy in the witch hat (all equally dream of the endless)

a literal stone statue that speaks mostly in egyptian hieroglyphs

and then there's this guy

One funny thing to me about across the spiderverse was that like. You KNOW Hobie doesn't fuck with cops. You KNOW he was standing there like chewing on the inside of his cheek Not saying anything really really insensitive about Miles' dad. Spider-punk went the whole film without oinking at anybody I think his restraint is commendable

Nicky was always meant to be stillborn. He was never supposed to live after birth, but Rio gave Agatha more time with him, and in turn he got more time with Agatha.

Whether it was implied or not, he was always the son of Death. He was always supposed to go home to his other mother. When Death finally beckoned him home that night, Rio wouldn’t allow him to join her until he kissed Agatha’s cheek. And he knew, instantaneously, to kiss Agatha not once, but twice.

Once from him, and once from Rio.

Though he was always meant to join Death at her side, Rio gave Agatha the chance to be his mother, too, and now I am a mess about it and will be thinking about this for a long time.
