Book!Alicent: knows what she wants, gladly marries the king at 18 and becomes queen-consort, actively desires power and Aegon on the throne and Viserys knows it, openly hates Rhaenyra and doesn't try to like her (Rhaenyra is nine btw), thought of by many as someone reaching far too high above her station

Show!Alicent: I'm just a victim and a blind idiot also I think my former best friend capable of kinslaying and uwu I'm an abusive mother and have no agency or real purpose other than being a contrived, badly written mean gurl manipulated by the patriarchy feel sowwy for me 👉🥺👈

Team green fans can be such hypocrites at times. Like shaming Rhaenyra for not physically fighting on dragonback, when she is in such pain and grief. But Helaena gets a free pass because her son was killed. And she's depressed and going through grief and mourning.

While that is exactly the emotion and pain Rhaenyra is going through (even more). Rhaenyra lost her father. Rhaenyra lost her birthright/throne/crown. Rhaenyra lost her son, Luke. Rhaenyra lost her daughter. That too in a stillbirth, which takes months to heal. Even if we put aside the grief and death and loss, there is still physical trauma, and pain. In such a condition she is supposed to be in bed resting.

But still what's the point of having a dragon if you're not putting it any use.🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

The way some people would rather die than admit this, IT WAS THE GREENS THAT STARTED THE WAR, NOT THE BLACKS.

Even if you count usurpation a reclaiming of birthright rather than a declaration of war, it would still be the greens that started the war.

Not the event of Blood & Cheese. Not Daemon. And certainly Rhaenyra.

Clearly stated. It was Aemond, a member of the greens that started this war. He killed a CHILD, a envoy to his rival, because his week male ego and pride was hurt.

Both Alicent and Otto are recorded as being of the consequences that will soon follow. The usurper thought this was “a good beginning.” Even throwing Aemond a great feast for killing a child.

The way some broccoli people are so in denial.... Rhaenyra being arrogant and not bending the caused the war? Daemon, Mysaria and Blood & Cheese caused the war? Please stut tf up🙏🤦‍♀️

Alicent Hightower had to be bitch to a motherless child. She could've been a positive figure in Rhaenyra's life, but no you have to make her life more miserable than it already is🤦
