remember when fruits basket was like kindness isn’t a weakness it’s a strength and there’s nothing wrong with vulnerability and love

I think many of us can agree that Kusanagi has made many beautiful covers throughout the years, but one cover that sticks out to me the most is volume 24.
It's so simple, but it highlights Hakyona's development. Hak has always been the one to protect Yona, from protecting her from falling off a cliff to using his super strength to protect her from invaders, and so on. But Yona has also gathered the strength to protect her loved ones. She's no longer the naive princess but now a powerful, independent woman who can not only defend herself but her loved ones too. As Hak is protecting Yona, Yona is protecting Hak.
These two will do anything to save one another. If it means putting them in harm's way, they will bravely put themselves in danger if it means their loved one is safe and sound. This cover is just so well done and beautiful; it makes me so happy!
woke up this morning to skip and loafer officially getting a season 2. THS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!! i'm so extremely happy!!!! VALENTINE’s DAY ARC WILL FINALLY BE ANIMATED!!! i can’t wait to watch the development of shima & mitsumi and all the other characters on my screen!!
i can’t even imagine how amazing it would have felt to hear this from someone you admire and love so much. after living like a puppet for others, never being honest with his desires, and always doing what people want, shima is told by his favorite person that no matter what, she will like him. mitsumi is such an honest and genuine spirit, although breaking up with shima was a hard decision to make, she did it so gently. this scene is such a testament to their relationship. they have so much respect and adoration for one another. even though it’s been a short time, you can easily tell they see each other as lifelong partners whether it’s romantic or platonic. although their first shot at an relationship didn’t work out, this moment opens up so much opportunity for growth. i just love this scene so very much!!!!
started watching vinland saga and i honestly did not expect to be as hooked as i currently am. 4 episodes into s1 and i already cried, laughed, and got attached to the characters. thors was such an amazing father & became such an incredible person i was so sad to see him die. watching thorfinn go from a naive, happy child, to now being so full of rage made my heart break. i’m scared yet excited to see thorfinn’s journey since i’ve heard SO MANY great things!!!
ever since i started impel down, nearly every episode has made me cry. especially episode 444, where the admiral tells ace, “this is the last time you’ll see the sky.” then ace just closes his eyes and soaks it all in.
it’s so upsetting knowing how kind & gentle ace is while the government condemns him as a “terrible criminal”. every scene before this arc, ace is seen being sweet, strong, & silly yet now he’s completely defeated. he isn’t meant to be chained up, he’s meant to be traveling the seas enjoying his life of adventure.
while ace is being sent to his death, luffy is doing everything he can to reach him. he nearly died from poison, yet his fighting spirit is still strong. no matter what, luffy isn’t giving up on his big brother. it breaks my heart to see luffy so desperate, but i hope he’s able to see ace before the worst happens.
he's means so much to me
"It's you"
"Despite everything, it's still you"
what i love about giyuu tomioka is how full of love he is. even when he doesn't believe he deserves to be happy, it's so easy for him to take care of tanjirou and nezuko. it's natural for him to want to protect and save those he can. being loving and heroic is just who giyuu is.
