So tfw 2.0 have just wrapped up a case when Sam finds another one just a few towns over and since they're already there, they won't call up another hunter to do the job. But Cas, who was so on board for another hunt, is suddenly so cagey about it when he finds out which town specifically and he absolutely doesn't wanna go and keeps making up excuses and Dean confronts him like heyyy what's going on buddy, but Cas being Cas doesn't say anything. Eventually they get there and y'know they do their case thing, and somehow it leads them to going to a church. And Cas is EVEN MORE cagey about this and doesn't wanna go and tries to make excuses but they have a case to solve!! So eventually the four of them walk into the church, Cas dragging his feet the entire way and once they're inside, Jack's like "hey Cas, is that you?" and points to the stained glass self-portrait Cas made as godstiel and everyone turns to look, including other members of the church who were THERE when it happened and Cas can't fly away anymore but he does run

I kind of wish they had kept certain devily things about Jack. Like how when Kelly was pregnant with him she would burn when she held a bible. Like the juxtaposition of him being so innocent and ✋🙂 ‘hi I’m Jack!’ and then a bible literally lighting itself on on fire and burning in his hands and him being like ‘🙂… huh. Well that’s weird.’

Like I get none of this happens to him because it shows he’s good and not like Lucifer but I just think it would be a cute & funny contrast to him being so clearly adorable to also “oh I can’t wear the priest collars like my Dad’s do. They immediately try and choke the life out of me. Crazy right?!”

Or like the cross thing that Lucifer. He has to keep fixing the ones he passes when he’s working a case in a home so the home owners don’t notice and freak out. Whispering for the crosses with little tortured men on them to “stay!” As he backs away from it. ✝️👀

dean walks into the war room one day to see what seems like jack and cas glitching in and out of the bunker while they point to different parts of the map table and dean is like guys what the fuck and cas is like i'm showing sam and jack my favorite points in world history and dean is like uhhh i don't see sam??? and jack is like oh yeah we left him at the petersen house in 1865 he really wanted to watch a play there for some reason and dean on a verge of a heart attack turns to cas like you took sam on a field trip to watch lincoln get assassinated???? and cas just deadpans no i left him there he wanted to take pictures

hi john winchester quick question - why did you leave salmondean alone in that motel room when you were hunting the shtriga? why would you need to? in the show’s lore - the shtriga works in annual cycles and goes through one town, ONE, each time. meaning that since the creature went after sam, presumably the motel was in the same town where the hunt was. so why did you need to leave the motel for days? where did you go? and moreover - we see in the “now” part of this episode that the shtriga isn’t particular with the order of the children. sometimes it takes the youngest first (two queens kid’s family), sometimes the oldest (the lay me down to sleep girl from the start of the ep) - what was the plan if it’s gone after dean first? sam’s how old here? four? five? you told dean to protect sam, but did you even think that dean might’ve been the first victim?

Jack + Being Raised in a Barn Bunker

claire and jack are total opposites of each other. claire tries to play broody tough girl and acts mean as a defense for how genuinely sensitive and damaged she is, because she thinks that makes her weak and she actively doesn’t want to be weak or be seen as weak because she doesn’t want to get hurt again.

jack has their own broody mean streak, but is so outwardly saccharine and polite and overly forgiving it’s like they practice it in the mirror with an etiquette 101 book. he can be quick to anger like claire, but he’s way quicker to calm himself down. claire doesn’t understand why an all-powerful demigod would choose to be weak, to just not use their power and retaliate against people that treat them shittily. she wishes she could be as strong and invulnerable as he is, and she thinks he’s wasting it on nothing.

jack, on the other hand, is a little jealous of claire’s boisterousness. he wishes he could be more openly angry and defiant the way she is, without it automatically being taken as a sign of Lucifer’s genetic influence or imbuing him with nuclear charged teenage hormones that turn him into an active threat. jack doesn’t understand why Claire can’t just relax; take advantage of the fact that her emotional state isn’t cosmically charged and she can freely let go of herself. he longs for the passivity of being a gentle human, and he doesn’t get at all why claire wouldn’t want to be gentle every moment of her life while she’s able to.

claire thinks his strength is an advantage, and doesn’t understand why he doesn’t want it or doesn’t use it. Jack knows it’s a burden and doesn’t understand why claire would ever want it.
