‘Twas time for a change in appearance
Seller “FancySammy” is a design thief who ripped off my friend’s original 3D printed file (and who knows how many other people) by buying her item at a low price, then made a mold of it to sell exact replicas at an even higher price on her own shop!
Here is the original item by ScDc3D, a 3D printed Pikachu keychain (in PLA plastic) for self-defense:
And here is the molded copy by FancySammy. Note the exact same shape of the head, positioning of the facial features, the shape of the tail, and toes. It’s an exact copy.
ScDc3D has the record of their original sale to her, and have had their product listed for several months longer. Don’t support ripoffs, especially more expensive ones! Sammy also apparently makes cosplay items, I wonder how many of those are copies of original work by other makers.
Sharpie drawing on black paper I did of Set It Off’s song “Lonely Dance” (plus a bunch of different versions I made because I decided to go a bit overboard with my editing program - hey, I think they look cool)
Hey! So here’s item number two of the day! This is a revamp of the UFO keychain I made awhile back. I shrunk the file size down to about an inch in diameter so that I could make it into a necklace! Pretty nerdy charm, but I still love it!

Hey! Here’s some of my more recent work from the last couple of days of the fall semester. I loved making these! The first two were experimental attempts I made with different fluid acrylic painting techniques (regular fluid acrylic and drip fluid acrylic). The last one was one I made to address a little split in my interests. I’ve always loved making art, but I also really starting getting in programming and computer science, so I made a painting of it to show two possible paths I’m considering in the future.
If you’re interested, I’ve made these three paintings and some other paintings and drawings available as prints on my deviant art page. A link to it can be found here: http://paintingfire.deviantart.com/
I’ve also been working a lot on my etsy page (https://www.etsy.com/shop/PaintingFire448?ref=hdr_shop_menu) , so any feedback there would help out a lot, too! Thanks!
