i would rather say "i love you" too much than too little, yk? i would rather yell "i love you" across a parking lot at 8:40 pm than to quietly go home, i would rather scream at my friends that "i love you" before i turn a corner, i would rather live in a world where my friends yell "i love you" back at the top of their lungs because life is so insufferably long but its also so so so short and i just. i would rather tell my people that i love them a ridiculous amount than have them not know,

You're allowed to make characters/character designs just for the sole purpose of having a character that you really enjoy having btw. And before anyone comes in here I'm not talking about gross shit I'm talking about artists feeling ashamed to self indulge or make themselves characters just for comfort, and holding themselves to really strict standards on how their ocs should be. You can just have ocs for fun. It's cool if you're not that focused on how good the story or character is, you can just have them bc you like them. Or even if you do enjoy making complex stories and nuanced characters, you're still allowed to have some that aren't that, ones that are just for your enjoyment, and ones that are the way they are just bc you want them to be exactly that. It's okay. In fact I encourage you to have some characters that you can find joy and comfort in. Indulge yourself alright? <3
