Half of Nik's crew are women.

This says some important things about his character, I think. These are strong, able, intelligent women. They wouldn't put up with bullshit; they have chosen to work for Nik for a reason. He's dangerous, brilliant, truly fuckin' terrifying, but he's genuine and respectful.

Sure, he knows how to remove a man's heart through his arsehole while they're still alive, but he also stocks sanitary products in his Heli, ensures dignity and respect at all times but without it being overbearing and chivalrous "because they're women". He treats and pays them as equals. He's a boss with high expectations of them and himself.

I dunno. It's just... when a man like Nikolai, moving in the circles he does, chooses these soldiers and earns their respect (because they could work for anyone)? It's important.
