Yugioh characters simply have no patience for your skill issues.
Hello everyone, I am Ahlam, 21 years old. My life before the war was simple, filled with ordinary dreams like any young woman my age. I envisioned a future full of the ability to help others. I lived with my family in a warm house full of love and security, thinking about how I could achieve my dreams and become an impactful person in society.
But suddenly, everything changed. The war swept through our city like a relentless storm. In a single night, my home became just a memory, and the city I once knew crumbled before my eyes. The sound of planes and shells became the only thing people could hear. We tried to find shelter, a safe place to hide our dreams and lives, but the war followed us wherever we went.
We were forced to leave everything behind—the house, the memories, and even the university. We became displaced, homeless, with no destination, just trying to survive. I walked with my family through unfamiliar roads, searching for a place to take us in, trying to escape danger, running from one explosion to the next, from one ruin to another.
The war didn't just destroy our city and homes, it destroyed our dreams. My dream of completing my studies became far out of reach, and every day, I feel hope slipping further away. But despite all this, something inside me refuses to give up. There is a desire to escape this reality and build a new life, a life worth living. I dream of continuing my education, I dream of standing on my own feet again and achieving the goal I was once striving for: to help others who have lived through the pain of war like me.
I ask for your help, humbly. I can't get out of these circumstances on my own. The donations you gather will help me travel to a safe place where I can continue my studies and start a new life away from war and fear. The amount I'm asking for is the key to a new life, to the dream of becoming strong again and one day helping my family and community.
Help me rebuild my life and become the person I dreamed of being. Every donation, no matter how small, is a step towards safety, a step towards a better future.
Thank you for reading my words. Many thanks and respect to you
a small thing, but it looks like in the Nice AU, Kirumi is likely well on her way to settling into her v3 Backstory:
isn't Byakuya just the Nosiest Boy?
...and even if that job doesn't work out, well, Kirumi may end up ruling Novoselic instead:
tons more tiny suggestions towards her backstory that i didn't Get until recently, too:
fascinating, right? i'm still reeling from learning Kirumi's wild-ass Backstory, honestly. she may be the most Saturday Morning Cartoon of all DR characters. straight up Kim Possible NPC. i love her
Yo! Just wanted to share an idea I had in my mind before I somehow forget about it.
I’m not sure if people even remember, but a bit I used to do when posting Rain Code memes was pretending that Melami and the other Chapter 0 Master Detectives were still alive. I know they’re as dead as a doornail (as hard as it was for me to accept at first); I just wanted to mess with y’all.
So having that out of the way, I want to share an idea I have for Melami, or more specifically, her Forte, as well as its requirements and benefits.
Upon introduction, we see Melami tell Yuma that clothes that reek or are unfashionable are out of the question when using her Forte. While I think that’s just a preference she set for herself, I also believe this gives way to a deeper idea. I believe that Melami actually prefers to use her Forte as least as possible, and will only use it if necessary or if she happens to like the victim’s clothes. This would explain why her official description makes note of her intelligence, since she would prefer to make logical deductions regarding a case before resorting to summoning the victim.
As for the reason why I believe she prefers to use her Forte only as a last resort, I think it’s because she deeply cares for her body. We see how much care she puts into it by frequently styling her hair, using make-up, preparing flashy clothes for her to wear even in casual settings, etc.. And while I am aware this is probably just because of her hobby as a fashionista, I find it very hard to believe that someone who puts that much care into her body and its physical appearance would be okay with giving it away to a foreign entity so quickly.
This also leads me to a second idea. The mastery of a Forte that can summon the dead while using one’s own body requires mastery of two separate abilities. The first is the ability to manipulate the dead, meaning that Melami can see spirits much in the same way Vivia can when he’s not using his Forte. This would also mean she can interact with Mystery Labyrinths as an outsider without risking her memories being erased (I believe people have already talked and made additional ideas around this concept).
The second ability (which I believe is far less talked about) is the manipulation of one’s own body as a vessel, meaning that Melami can also set restrictions within herself to prevent the spirit she summons from taking certain actions using her body (for example self-harm, murder, suicide attempts, etc..). Melami deeply cares for her body and its physical wellbeing, so restricting the spirit she summons to only answering questions seems like a reasonable headcannon to have.
Edit: Also! Melami being able to control her body means she can forcefully eject any spirit that tries to possess her body without permission. At least I think something like that would make sense.
Are all of these ideas already out there? Probably, but I still want to share what I’m thinking, bounce ideas off the wall and see if anyone agrees or not. Of course we might never know if any of this is true, given how we only got to know Melami for a few minutes. Either way, I hope that Rain Code’s success gives way for more content regarding the Chapter 0 Master Detectives in the future, since I’d love to hear about Melami again.
Anyway, these were all ideas I wanted to get off my mind, before I somehow forgot about them. If you made it this far, then thank you for listening to my ramblings. Have these Melami images as a reward, and I hope you have a great day 😄👍
Edit: I forgot to share this after uploading, but she would also have one of these in her bag in case of emergencies. This just screams Melami to me 😆

Hello, my name is Aya, I am 26 years old, currently living in the northern part of Gaza City, and I am a mother of two children. My oldest is my daughter, Sanaa, who is 5 years old, and my youngest is my son, Wasfi, who is 3.
Since the morning of October 7th, 2023, our lives have been turned upside down. We have lived through the hardest days of our lives, facing displacement and homelessness. We have been forced to leave our home more than ten times since the war began. We would leave without knowing where to go.
We sought refuge in schools and relatives' homes, hoping we could return home and that this nightmare would end. But our house was bombed, and our dreams were destroyed. We became homeless and displaced.
Every day, we wake up to the sound of bombs and rockets. I lived in constant fear and terror with my children, especially when my family's house was bombed while we were taking shelter there.
We are experiencing a real famine in Gaza. I’ve gone to bed with my children many nights without dinner because there is no food available. We have had to eat animal and bird feed due to the high cost of flour just to fill the hunger of my young children. Even after eating it, we all suffered from diarrhea and severe stomach pain. My children developed rashes on their bodies due to the spread of viruses and the accumulation of garbage. There is also a severe shortage of water, and even when we find it, it's not safe to drink.
My children cry, asking for vegetables, fruits, and eggs, but we can’t afford them because we have no income. The gas shortage has forced us to use fire for everything—cooking and baking—using plastic and pipes because firewood is so hard to find.
My children also developed jaundice, and I struggled a lot to get them better because there was no access to vegetables, fruits, or medicine. I even feared that my son might have developed polio because he already had leg problems before the war, and they worsened due to malnutrition.
Winter is coming, and we have nothing for it. I need clothes and shoes for my children to keep them warm, but I can’t buy them because they are so expensive.
For this reason, I beg of you and hope that you can support me, even with the smallest contribution, so I can provide my children with the most basic necessities of life.
I was displaced with my children to my family's house, tears in my eyes. On the way, Salah Al-Din Street was bombed, and the Israeli occupation committed horrific massacres. By the grace of God, we survived for the first time. We lived in terror and fear. A few days later, my family's house was bombed, and we were pulled out from under the rubble, miraculously surviving for the second time.
When my husband heard the news that we had died, he came to bid us farewell, only to find us alive by God's grace. We returned with him, but as the situation worsened and the fire belts in our area increased, we started to flee again and again, not knowing where to go next.
I beg of you to share my story and help me continue to live.
I hope everyone can help my family🙏
I will tell you my story about the war in the Gaza Strip, and I hope you will help me get out to safety. Thank you very much. I am Ali Miqdad, 33 years old, and my wife, Aya Hamdan, 25 years old. I have two children, my beloved, who is 5 years old and Adam, who is 2 years old
In light of the war on us, we lost everything: home, money, business, and even clothes. I paid everything in the house and business that I had because of the bombing that we witnessed throughout the days. To this day, we have been displaced several times, and the first night was very difficult. In the morning, it was our first displacement and exit from the house, and then we lost. We all lost our beautiful memories and the wonderful things that me and the family used to live on
We lost our beautiful memories and the wonderful things that my family and I used to live on. The hardest thing we lost was safety and peace due to the violent bombing that surrounded us at every time and moment and in all the places to which we were displaced. Also, the days that we spent in displacement several times were difficult due to the lack of work to obtain. For money, clothes, food, water, and meeting the needs of the family and the needs of the children, especially since we are in tents and there is no healthy food or medicine due to the spread of diseases.
Through the process of repeated displacement, we lost the stable and recreational life that I used to live with my wife, my children, Habiba and Adam, who lost their beautiful childhood, the first days of their childhood, and their toys that they loved and played with all the time. My daughter, Habiba, lost her studies in kindergarten, and my wife, who suffers from fatigue and exhaustion all the time. As a result of displacement from one place to another, and from tent to tent, which completely changed the nature of our lives from a beautiful house to a tent in the middle of the street in which we sleep.
I need your cooperation and help in raising money to leave the Gaza Strip because the exit from the Gaza Strip is due to the war
I hope everyone will donate for my family and children🙏❤️
