Okay, hear me out:
(Also, most of what I'm about to say hinges on the fact that I'm pretty confident season 4 is Benedict's season.)
The swing scene at the end of season 3 seemed to pretty blatantly set up Benedict and Eloise's arcs for season 4. Regarding Benedict, that scene seems to imply he'll be meeting Sophie next season, and regarding Eloise, she straight up says she wants to explore the world beyond Mayfair and Aubrey Hall.
Now, we know Eloise will be back in London for the masquerade ball, and we also know that the masquerade is where Benedict meets Sophie. Assuming season 4 is Benedict's season, the masquerade will need to happen earlier on in the season, so Eloise won't be spending too much time in Scotland.
So, if Eloise's season 4 arc revolves around exploring the world beyond her little bubble of high society, spending an episode or two in Scotland is not enough.
She needs to go back to Bloomsbury.
We already got a taste of this in season 2, but we primarily see Eloise visiting Theo at the printshop. Season 4 offers a perfect opportunity to see Eloise go beyond the printshop and attend more assemblies, and maybe even speak at one (in season 3, one of the debutantes did call Eloise a talented speaker). Hell, maybe she even runs into Theo at one of these assemblies.
Additionally, if season 4 revolves around Benophie, working class people need to be brought into the spotlight. Enter Theo Sharpe! Introducing Sophie already opens up the world of Bridgerton in a way we haven't seen before, but bringing back Theo can expand that world and show us a more political side, which we only got a glimpse of in season 2. Not to mention, a Theloise subplot during Benophie's season can provide really interesting commentary on women marrying above/below their station.
Benedict: The floor is lava!!
Colin: *helps Daphne onto the table*
Hyacinth: *pushes Gregory off the sofa*
Violet: As you can see, there are two types of siblings.

🔪 ⇢ what's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?
Probably: "What does blood taste like?"
📚 ⇢ what's the last thing you wrote down in your notes app?
This one's a shower thought I had related to my Theloise Hunger Games AU!
Eloise tries to teach Theo how to shoot using a bow and arrow. He fails spectacularly.

I made a breakthrough with my research! I won't get into the details since it's confidential, but I'm working on mathematics + computer science research and it's all very fun. 😋
Rediscovering my hobbies! I've been reading more recently (I recently read The Rose Code by Kate Quinn and I'm currently reading White Nights by Fyoder Dostoevsky). I've also always wanted to write fanfiction but never found the time or energy, so I'm really happy that's something I can do now!
I have the best friends a girl can ask for! I also have some great mutuals <3
Thanks for the ask! <3
I'm on a gg/dair renaissance and I blame you entirely 😂😂😂
LMAO I will gladly accept the blame! Also, Dair is literally Modern Theloise so the renaissance was bound to happen eventually. 😅

Summary:
Eloise trips and falls into Theo's bed.
[Once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, and thrice is neither of those things.]
Excerpt:
Eloise had Theo pressed against a shelf, her fingers deftly working open the buttons of his neatly-pressed shirt. There were voices outside, important people having important conversations right outside their hiding place, but all she could focus on was making sure that this man (with his perfect hair and his perfect smile and his perfect—) walked away from this closet looking wrecked.
if you’re so inclined, use this ask to tell us about a WIP you’re enjoying!! maybe it’ll help a little with the agony that a thousand plot bunnies tends to bring 🙃
Here is a snippet from No. 1 Party Anthem, where Eloise and Theo have a rivals w/ benefits relationship! 👀
Eloise has Theo pressed against a shelf—which probably isn’t comfortable, but she can’t bring herself to care—her fingers deftly working open the buttons of his neatly-pressed shirt. There are voices outside, important people having important conversations right outside their hiding place, but all Eloise can focus on is making sure that this man (with his perfect hair and his perfect smile and his perfect—) walks away from this closet looking wrecked.
Thank you for the ask!!! It certainly helped lol.
Chapters: 1/? Fandom: Bridgerton (TV) Rating: Mature Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Eloise Bridgerton/Theo Sharpe Characters: Eloise Bridgerton, Theo Sharpe, Simon Basset’s Father | Duke of Hastings, Lord Wetherby (Bridgerton), Lord Petri (Bridgerton), Anthony Bridgerton, Will Mondrich Additional Tags: Alternate Universe - Pirate, Golden Age of Piracy Summary:
Eloise was no great pianoforte player. She had no skill in dancing. And, under no circumstance, was she ever allowed to sing. She lived her life in silence, until the Prince of Pirates and his crew attacked her brother’s port of Mayfair searching for a treasure none of them would ever reveal. Now, stolen from home, she must survive until she can escape the “Prince of Pirates” Captain Sharpe and finally live a life of freedom.
This scene occurs the morning after Anthony's "failed nuptials"...and also the morning after Eloise confessed her feelings to Theo and he set aside books for her to "share her thoughts on". I can't help but wonder if the book she's reading here is one of the books he set aside for her?
This scene follows immediately after, and it's obvious she's on her way to meet Theo (my girl's practically skipping lol). Perhaps she wanted to meet Theo and "share her thoughts" on the book she was reading? The book that he gave her?
I’m a firm believer in "brevity is the soul of wit" which is why I refuse to read any book that is over 400 pages long.
