Unanswered Questions in Steven Universe

I know a lot of people seemed to think that finding out how Pink Diamond was shattered was sort of the “end game” for Steven Universe. But there’s still a lot of things we don’t know and a lot of answers that need clearing up to keep the series going for quite some time.

Lapis and Peridot reconciliation

Lapis still has a lot of character growth to go through. I think it’s pretty clear that eventually she will return and patch things up with Peridot. Peridot can’t keep living in Steven’s bathroom after all.

Centipeetle, Jasper, and the Gem Monsters

There’s still a task of trying to heal the corrupted gems. A lot of people are looking forward to Steven helping Centipeetle and Jasper overcome the corruption.

Lars of the Stars

Lars of course needs to return back to Earth and let the Off-Colors join the Crystal Gems. Even if Steven reconciles with the Diamonds, there’s still centuries of bigotry and hatred towards imperfections that needs to be healed, both on Earth and on Homeworld.

The Human Zoo, Amethysts, and the other Rose Gems

The Humans need to be reintegrated into normal Earth culture and life, along with the Amethysts on the Zoo and the bubbled Rose Gems.

The Cluster

One of the biggest looming threats and mysteries is the Cluster. I know it seems like it’s been “dealt with” back in Season 2.. but with the new information that Rose was Pink Diamond, there’s a lot of unanswered questions. Did she know about it? From Pearl’s reaction it would seem that they didn’t even know it was going on and was instead spearheaded by Yellow Diamond behind Pink/Rose’s back. How will that affect the group and how will Steven deal with it’s potential unbubbling? Will he be able to piece together shards and bring back some of the gems? When did it even happen? Was it AFTER the Diamond attack? Or was it started secretly before?

So while the answer to Pink Diamond’s shattering has finally been revealed, there’s still a ton of things for the show to address.

😁 Ok, now let's talk about the point of this post. I've always heard about anime for a very long time when I was a kid, but never really had a chance to watch some. The most familiar anime to me was just probably Pokémon. I remember seeing some clips of DBZ, Sailormoon, Naruto and more as a young kid but I barely remember what was happening and what the story was about. Anime was always big and popular, but I don't understand why because I wasn't so fluent at english that time 😆. Wether it'd be subtitled or dubbed, english would still be confusing. My parents would always control/limit my time in watching tv, so that might be the reason why I wasn't so used to watching english shows. At that time, there were more cartoon shows than anime so I was more used to cartoons. I would still see advertisements of some anime shows, but I would just ignore it since I was not that interested in it... Maybe that was missing in my childhood, anime. But I did love watching Pokemon and that one anime with the Dinosaurs and cards something. I started watching some anime shows online maybe when I was 14 years old. Then I immediately fell in love with it. I've continued my love for anime by watching some of the animations, movies, episodes and even reading manga. I also started drawing a few fanarts too.

As far as I know, here are the animes and mangas I've watched or read already:

-Pokémon, which is everyone's favorite

-Naruto(except naruto shippuden) I want to continue watching the next episodes, but I keep on forgetting and I lack motivation ☹

I know this post will be very similar to my other one, but here are more things that I want to add, including this sketch I drew. Since we haven't seen what Elite Citrines look like, and also White Diamond's court gems, I "guessed" what "might" be their sizes. From the latest episode, we saw that Pink was so small from the Stranded episode. While from the Wanted episodes last year, we saw a gigantic figure with a glowing diamond symbol on the forehead, which we assume resembles White Diamond. If pink is so small, then maybe White is so large. Homeworld is running out of resources so Pink came out small, just like our Era 2 peridot who had limited powers or abilities. I'd like to think that White D's group is the largest, Yellow and Blue Diamond's group is second, and Pink's group is the smallest, specially with the defects like amethyst and carnelian. In my opinion, White Diamond would be the largest of all gems, which I assume would be 1 and 1/2 buildings high, while the uncorrupted Heaven Beetle and Earth Beetle gems would be the tiniest. 'If' Elite Citrines(which is a type of quartz) 'were' big similar to Yellow Diamond, then it would make sense why Lars and the Off Colors were able to steal Emerald's fastest ship on the center of Homeworld easily. Because Citrines were too big to even find them, and it would be easy for the Off Colors to sneak past them. Similar to how Steven and Greg tried to escape from Pink's Zoo room when Yellow Diamond was singing to Blue D. Maybe Pink Diamond wasn't really defective, she was just small because Homeworld was running out of resources.
