This is kinda an unpopular opinion but I donβt like how HEAVILY people associate scene and emo culture are with the early 2000s.
If someone dresses in trad goth people donβt usually tell them βitβs not the 80sβ or for punk/grunge βitβs not the 90sβ.
Alternative fashion and music just do not work that way. Alt Subcultures donβt just βgo out of styleβ the way mainstream fads do.
Because itβs not just a style. Itβs a whole ass culture weβre talking about. Art, music, literature, fashion, movies, sense of humor, hobbies, etc all go into subcults & People who already donβt follow the crowd arenβt going to care what the latest 2023 trends are, if that wasnβt obvious already.
Seriously what alternative person is gonna be like βwait, my style isnβt what everyone is doing this year? Dang well let me find out what everyone IS doing this year so I too can hop on the bandwagon!β

What do you think a knight of hope could be like?
Hmmm.
Knights are a fun class. Maybe you all like the fact that I think that they're passive. Dunno.
Knight - passive exploitation class, one who serves aspect, or serves through aspect for others.
Hope - control over positive emotion, and hope itself.
The Knight of Hope is one who serves Hope, or serves through Hope for others.
The opposite to a Knight of Hope is a Thief of Rage.
The Knight is going to be one of the more offensive defense players. They're able to weaponize the Hope of their teammates, and if they get them hopped up on the simple belief that they Can, then the team is basically unstoppable.
Even the littlest bit of Hope in any of the team members can be exploited and expanded.
The Knight's going to be the motivator. The one who says "we can do this because I believe so and you do too" and everyone will go along with it. They aren't leading the party, because they're not fit for that, but they've got your back regardless.
Knights often put up a facade ghosting their opposite aspect, as they start out with a small deficiency in their aspect. This means that, in the beginning, the Knight of Hope might act more like a Rage player, being a downer, someone who didn't have a lot of Hope in their own life, so they don't have any as a result. Once they get over this barrier, though, they'll really be able to turn the tides.
They're the type to believe strongly in something until the moment they realize that it's futile or simply incorrect, and this could either be from fact or the Knight's own insecurity, so having someone to support the Knight will also help.
Pre-God Tier, I see the Knight of Hope as someone who's had a lot of letdowns in their life, empty promises leading nowhere and they just need that extra push to keep them from going hopeless.
Though so long as they can overcome these challenges, the Knight of Hope will make for an excellent player and an even better friend.
NO WAY
